i need advice about colors for headbands/clips that would look cute with my hair (short-ish(a little over the ears), medium brown, few blonde highlights)

How long will red hair color stay in ?

If I like got it done professionally. My hair is dark brown naturally but I'll have to get it dyed blonde for a play. Then I want it red. Like in the little mermaid. Will the color like wash out fast. And do you think it would stay in if i got it professionally done ((not from a box set))

Don't do it! Red hair is so hard to look after. I went from dark brown to bright red, took me about 4 boxes of that 'Live' stuff until i got the colour i wanted but because it fades so quickly like all red dies apparently do i had to keep dying it every 4 weeks ish. I'm not sure about professionally though. If you're dying your hair blonde first when it does fade it will go an orangey colour rather than just a dull red. Oh and, i found it really hard to shop when i had red hair because you can't wear certain colours. Found myself wearing blacks, whites, creams and denims with gold accessories all the time. One more thing....once you've died your hair red the only way you can get rid of it is by dying it black and even when i done that you could still see red in it like i had red highlights or something and i stillllll have a red tint to my hair now even though it was ages ago my hair was red...

I have a black V-neck knit dress, that I would like to accessorize by wearing my red lace trimmed camisole underneath, so that the red lace peaks out around the V-neckline. I also plan on wearing one small red hair accessory, (A red crystal hair comb) Is the lacy layered look so yesterday ? (or so 80's) ? Thanks !

Is it okay to wear all of one colour if it's for a formal event?

where? say if i have a champagne dress should I direct another colour to my shoes and headband for example? if I wear dress gloves do they stay white?

one color is something no one recommends, so try adding one or two colors more

Personally, I love scene and candy goth styles. Dinosaurs and robots are adorable. =]
Anyway, I would really love if you guys could list some websites or stores. Not eBay, please--I don't shop there. And I already know about Hot Topic, thanks. =]

This is what im doing too :)

A lot of makeup and think big hair! I'm going to put mine in big loose curls and have half of it teased and pinned up. I'm no good with hair but the local beauty school does things like that for cheap.

I'm putting on bright pink lipstick and a lot of blush and doing really think and long fake lashes.

For accessories just take a piece of silk ribbon in a similar color and make a choaker by tying it around your neck, all the pictures that I have seen have had that.

You can, but the hair extensions can get easily damaged like your own hair. In that case, you can't repair it, you'll have to buy a new extensions.

I also do not recommend wearing hair extensions for too long, if they're clip-on style, you need to take them off when you go to sleep. They are hair accessories, not to be worn everyday & night. ALSO, if you've got thin or thinning hair, trying to grow hair or Afri-Amer, wearing hair extensions will only make your hair thinner or hair falls.
