Shampoos for red hair?

Stephanie

I need to preserve my bright red color but without sprnding a ton of money. Like $5 and under cheap. Are any of these good and if not which are: Suave color pretection, pantene color revitalize, herbal essences color me happy, garnier fructis color shield, dove color care.

Answer
My sister died her hair a bright red hair color too. The color in her hair faded pink the first time so she dyed it again but when she got it the second time her hair dresser told her 2 good products to wash her hair with.

Shampoo : John Frieda "Radiant Red"
My sister said it really helps preserve the red and it doesnt turn pink.
I think this shampoo may be a bit expensive but it's definetly worth the money.

Conditioner: Quantum Riveting reds
This costs $7.39 in stores. Online $8 . I heard it REALLY helps keep the color in and smells really good.

But honestly what i think you should do is try not to wash your hair so often. I know it may sound kinda gross but my sister did it and it really helped her. She only washed her hair when she urgently needed to. And she purchased Dry shampoo's which u should DEFINETLY do. It wont make ur red hair color fade and will keep it in for a long time. Hope this helped!

caring for red coloured hair ?

Q. so, my hairs naturally brown, and i coloured it red... like a bright red... is there any tips or advice you could give me so the colour lasts longer.. also any special products that you know of thats good for red hair ?? thanksss :) xx

Answer
I used to have red hair up until a few weeks ago. All i can say is to buy the hair dye you used so whenever your roots grow out you can cover them up. Also, I'd use a shampoo made specifically for redheads, like John Frieda Radiant Red Color Captivating Daily Shampoo. If you can do that, and condition your hair daily, it will look gorgeous and be healthy.

Tips on caring for red hair?

Q. I'm thinking about dying my hair from light, ugly brown to a red...like, brownish red, not majorly red-red. if that makes sense.
anyway, is it hard to take care of? what should I know before dying it? How do i keep it in good shape?
Thanksss.

Answer
Red is the sexiest color a girl could ever dye her hair! LOL, anyways, it isn't really hard to take care of. The only con of dying your hair red is that it doesn't last long; it's the color that fades the most out of brown, blonde, etc. There isn't really anything to know except the basic precautions. (They can be found on your hair dye). If you want the color to last and stay in shape, you should buy some color preserve shampoo, any brand is okay, you should look at makeupalley.com to see reviews on which shampoo&conditioner works best. Btw, if your hair is kinda dark brown, i don't think the red hair dye would show up. I'm not saying you should bleach it either! Please don't do that! :O Verry veryy damaging. You should head up to Sally's and get this hair dye, it's called L'Oreal Excellence Hicolor, i recommend dark auburn red, it's like a brownish red. Then buy Ion 20 developer, mix it together and then voila! Brown red hair. It'll cost you less than 15 bucks. Good luck!

How is red hair generally viewed in Ireland?

Most answers I've gotten are on the lines of "well red hair is really really common in Ireland so nobody cares" but Scotland has just as high of a red hair rate (if not more) and gingers are often looked down upon there as much as England.

I read somewhere that sperm donated from red-haired men has most demand in Ireland. So it's a positive trait?

How can I have red hair without seeming goth?

I have red hair ( like Rihanna red kinda) and people think I'm goth but I'm not. So how I have my red hair without looking goth? I just love red hair for some reason lmao so I don't want to dye it to a different.

Answer
Don't wear a lot of dark colors.
But you really shouldn't care what people think, if the way you dress and the color of your hair makes you seem 'goth' just tell them straight up you aren't goth.
Don't change yourself to please others.
