What red hair dye brands won't faint and wash out everytime I shower, I wash my hair everyday. I have black hair and going to bleach it and get red. I was going to try splat hair dye but in the summer I tried teal and after a first shower my hair turned a seaweedish green. Any tips on how to keep my red hair not to fade and turn ginger.

Try using Sally Beauty's red hair dye but make sure it is the creme dye not the liquid,it last longer and it won't fade quickly.

It's called "anything-but-ginger" and it's by Loreal. I get it at any Walgreens or big super market. I already have like 3 friends! It's made a huge difference; I would really recommend it.

I used to be blonde and a couple of weeks ago I dyed it brown because its easier to manage. Since it was blonde the color has faded to a light brown reddish gold color and I just want it dark brown. What is the best hair color brand that wont fade or fades the least? Please and Thank You :)
OBVIOUSLY i know it will fade, im asking which lasts the longest, sheesh im not an idiot lol

I love Loreal Natural Match. I had dyed my hair blonde for a few years and had to endure the same thing. Natural Match has so many great shades, each level has an ash, natural, warm and red shade to choose from. It lasts a long time and makes your hair feel really soft. (Use two boxes if you have long hair.)

What is the best drugstore hair dye brand for red hair?

I usually use revlon andd that stays in my hair pretty well, but i want to go a deeper red and revlon does not have a deep enough red. What other drugtore (wal mart) hair dye is good where it doesn't fade as fast in a red hair color? Thank you!

Professionals will help you get your hair a deeper red the healthiest way. be very careful what you do to your hair. my story may stop you from going any further.

I had used highlights a few times as a kid, and when i entered my twenties, i started dying my hair a lot,sometimes w/drugstore stuff and sometimes professionally at the salon. more recently i wanted to go from deep red to blonde, and my stylist was not thinking clearly and went ahead and bleached my hair. my hair was like oodles of noodles after. dry, bleached, like straw, terrible, simply ruined. I wish i had never started messing w/my hair. i soon got a buzzcut bc the remaining hair was simply ruined. i am wearing wigs now for a while :( find something natural to do w/your hair that you like that uses NO CHEMICALS!!!! It is incredibly bad to put dye in your hair. you prolly still have fairly decent hair, i say either, go to your local salon or leave your hair alone preferably!!!!

If you have really dark hair, your best bet is to go to a beauty supply like Sally's and you need to use a volume10 developer to lift your own color a few shades so that the red will be bright. Just be sure to keep an eye on the time while you do this. You can always tell the worker at the store, and they can help you pick out the ones you need too.
