What hair color and hair do make you think- rebel?

I'm writing a book about the Zombie Apocalypse and when working on character descriptions I need a hair color and a hairstyle (a few actually) for the main character. I wanted a rebel kinda color, but she wasn't always a rebel....

I like golden blonde (like Rapunzels from the movie), but what do you guys think?

And at least 5 hairstyles!

When i think of rebel i think of red. Not bright red, but a dark red, almost purple. And for the style i think of short, about chin length, and spiky almost. Ever seen twilight? Well i mean like Alice's hairstyle from that :)

I wouldn't use golden blonde because when people think of blonde they automatically think of inncoence and angelic. Unless you twisted the image of her and said it blended into a sort of black (like dip-dyed) at the ends of the hair?

How can I get my natural red hair color back?

My natural hair color is red. 1 year ago I dyed it dark brown and kept it that way for about a year. Then the ombre hairstyles started to become a big trend and I wanted my hair to go from dark brown to blonde so I added blonde to the bottom. I was wondering how I could go about going back to my natural red hair without it totally ruining my hair??

im a hairdresser and been every colour under the sun... and had my hair in awful condition.
if you want to keep your hair in good condition i would stay away from bleaching/effasor.
i would start using vosence Original/ head and shoulder shampoo or washing up liquid is also as good this will strip any pigments in your hair out in a nice process as shampoo's are acid's so there more gentle. bleach and effasor is alkaline and eventually lead to hair breakage. if you worry when your roots come through go the hairdressers and get high lights which match your roots running through your hair. to break it up. also having regular cuts will help the growing and condition. hope this helps

How can a get rid of a slight tint of red hair color that's still in my brown hair color?

I used those at home care products to dye my hair last year and even though I used the same one always it turned my hair color red and slowly but surely I have gotten back to how it's supposed to be but it still has a tint of red in it. Any idea how to get it to dark ash blond?

ok first figure out what kind of audition it is is it dancing, singing, acting??? then find something that you really like to wear and think that you look good in. Do your hair in a bun (if fancy) down ( if more informal) haha i just used a big word.... anyway be yourself and i hope that you have a great time and you get whatever your trying out for....

What wild color streak would look good for naturally red hair?

I don't want to dye my hair more than one streak. I have a side-cut hairstyle and my hair is naturally curly, shoulder length. I'm trying to decide what color would look best with my hair color. It is similar to Julianne Moore's color, not auburn or strawberry blonde.

It depends whether you want it to really stand out or kinda blend in. Yellow and orange colors oils blend in more. However yellow tends to be a tricky color. Now if you want it to stand out then go in the color range of blue to purple. Don't go toward green and avoid teal because that will turn green after a few washes. Brighter shades will also stand out more against darker hair. It depends though whether you want it to stand out or blend in. I can only say to avoid green and yellow because green will make you look like Christmas and yellow can start to look like urine if not properly cared for. You can bleach it to a blonde but I don't know how permanent you were going for.
