If I like got it done professionally. My hair is dark brown naturally but I'll have to get it dyed blonde for a play. Then I want it red. Like in the little mermaid. Will the color like wash out fast. And do you think it would stay in if i got it professionally done ((not from a box set))

Red is really tricky. i am a stylist and its hard to gaurentee anything with red.
its the color that stays in the longest and its the hardest to get out. and for some reason
its the hardest color to stay in as well. It fades really quickly so it takes alot of upkeep.
I would just talk to your stylist and see what the best solution for YOUR hair is.

Q. What do people think Of dyed white hair. I have golden brown hair, but I was wondering what people thought of a teenager with dyed hair with black highlights in it?

i think it might be cool ... highlights are usually hard to upkeep but i think the fact that your hair would be super light and the highlights being black would make it easy to find them and touch them up. i think it would look good, you could even add some funky colors too, it's what i would do. black along with some hot pink or even red would look awesome ... any other funky color would look good as well. but i do hope you know it's going to be difficult to get your hair a true white. it's going to take a lot of bleach and toner. if you go to a pro there is a chance she is going to tell you that she can't do it. but my hair is naturally darker than yours and i've accidentally made my hair white once lol so it can be done and you may have to do it yourself. you're going to have to bleach your hair probably 2-3 times to get it light enough to tone to white. your hair should be a really pale yellow like the color of a banana peel before you can tone or else it will just turn out blonde. just don't use 40 volume peroxide in your bleach, it will damage too much. if you do end up doing it yourself, i recommend that you get 30 and 40 volume peroxide and mix them together evenly in the bleach. it will have stronger lightening power than 30 but not as harsh as 40 alone. use that the first time and leave it on for up to 45 minutes. after 45 minutes, it will lose it's potency. you will then notice that your roots will be a lighter yellow than your lengths so the second time you bleach, use just 30 volume and "paint" the bleach on your hair with a tint brush and apply it with precision where the lighter yellow of your roots ends and the darker yellow begins. don't bleach your roots again or it could cause breakage. they will be lighter because of the heat off your scalp making the bleach work faster. leave that bleach on until your lengths match your roots - pale yellow. doing this will give you an even white color when you tone. if your lengths are darker yellow, your hair will be white at the roots and blonde in the lengths. immediately after you shampoo your last bleaching out, don't condition and prepare your toner. toner is a mild, permanent hair color that is meant to be used on hair that has just been bleached to achieve a more natural tone and to remove yellow. you should go to sally beauty to get everything you need, they have good prices and are the only beauty supply shop i know of that carries wella color charm toners. they're the best. they come in 2 ounces and require 4 ounces of 20 volume peroxide. get the "white lady" shade. you might want to tone twice because after the first time your hair might just be platinum blonde and not white. it won't hurt your hair. leave this toner on for 30 minutes. when you're at sally's, look for these ardell hair color/bleach additives: unred and red gold corrector plus. they work great at removing yellow tones which is necessary to get white hair. add 10 drops for every ounce of peroxide used each time you bleach. add it to your toner too, it will really turn your hair white. just be sure to use lots of deep conditioners afterward because your hair will be damaged some. after you tone you can add your black highlights. try the highlight cap and hook method if you want lots everywhere or just do it with your hands if you want chunkier ones. wrap the highlights in foil after you coat them with black dye or else they could spread. use shampoo and conditioner for colored hair or your highlights will fade a lot and your white will turn yellowish. or you could try shimmer lights shampoo and conditioner to keep it from turning yellow. it's purple and washes yellow away great. i know this was long, but it's everything you need to do to get your hair the way you want ... if you aren't going to a pro. good luck!
