Red Hair Help!!!!Experienced people help!?

Q. I dyed my hair red with L'oreal Highcolor Highlights red and magenta (in the red box) mixed together, and it was the most beautiful color ever and it was a dark magenta red color! but I washed it and after a while I needed to redye my hair, and I used the same dye, and it made my hair brighter and it look horrible! I don't know what to do now to make it back to the dark red pretty color. Should I redye it with the red box dye? or would that make it brighter? or the black box dye? (ive seen some girl have bright hair and use the black box dye and it turned out darker) wait what does that do? ( Sorry I'm just SUPER confused) or should I put brown over it to make it a magenta color again???

First off it's because your hair was dark at first so it got lighter but still had dark pigment. Then you died it AGAIN causing the rest of the dark pigment to be bleached. You will have to die your hair an even darker color that it was originally (if you had virgin hair before) then re-dye your hair the red. This time don't wash it! lol

And please beware! Doing all this dying will probably, most-likely cause your hair to be fried/dry looking and or fall out.

The only statistic I've seen relating to that is that in the early 1900's amongst the immigrant Jewish population of New York City (mostly Aschkenazic) there was about 3.5 to 4% red heads. That puts it in the same range as the entire US population which is between 2 and 6%. If you are talking the entire world population the percent overall drops to fractions of a percent since the largest proportion of people on earth are in India and Asia where red hair is extremely uncommon.

I doubt anyone keeps much in the way of records on hair color since it is changeable and superficial anyway. I know a lot of people with red hair as children who became brunettes when the got older. And some red hair is caused by poor nutrition in developing countries, rather than being genetic. Plus millions of people (men and women) dye their hair. So I doubt you will find super-accurate surveys of gingers.

What would I wear to a modeling go-see if I were to be sent to Tokyo in June?

There is a possibility I might be sent to Tokyo (instead of Korea, see previous question). I need to wear body conscious clothing for go-sees, yet I have unusual colouring (bright red hair, freckles, doll face) and I want to be respectably dressed. Any fashion/model tips appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

To a go-see you always wear dark skinny jeans, a tight white t-shirt or tank top and heels. You don't dress fashionably -- they are not judging you on your fashion sense as there will always be a stylist on set to dress you however they want to dress you. Any agency or booking client needs to clearly see the outline of your bust, waist and hips and the length and shape of your legs. It's no different than going to a go-see in New York or Paris or Milan.

Why the English prejudice against red or ginger-coloured hair?

Sure, Prince Harry and the Duchess of York, who are both famed for their escapades, have red hair, but so did Churchill and Elizabeth I--not to mention Mark Twain, Thomas Jefferson, and Custer. Of course, more Scots and Irish have red hair than English. Explain this prejudice to a mystified American.

There isn't one, put as plainly as I can. You get the odd point of Scots being gingers, but never too much. I suppose it's a cultural cliche you've picked up.

How strict our door policies for girls at NYC clubs?

My friend and I really want to hit the clubs in NYC this Friday but were only 18. Not to have an ego but I've heard I'm pretty good looking and my friend is cute. I'm 5'10 and blonde and she's 5'1 and has the hottest red hair I've ever seen. How strict are the door policies at most of the clubs in NYC? Or where can I find any sweet parties while we spend the day hanging out. Any help is appreciated! Thanks

If it's a club that serves alcohol you can expect them to card everybody and turn you away if you're under 21 years old. Doesn't matter how good you look or how hot or cute you are, if they provide alcohol to anyone under 21 they risk having the State of New York revoke their liquor license, and quite possibly risk having City or State of New York shut them down entirely and maybe even put them out of business.

That said, I can't think of any off the top of my head but I know there are some 18+ clubs that do not serve alcohol that you could go party at.

But to answer your question, expect pretty much anywhere to be very strict when it comes to whether or not you're of legal alcohol drinking age, regardless of guys or girls, hot or cute or ugly or fat or w/e, for the reasons I mentioned above. Outside of that, it would depend on the club.

My gf's best friend dyed her hair red like Fergie Dutchess of York, but then she went out and bought a green car.........so the hair and car would match? Isn't that nuts?
