Sims 3 Skin Color and Hair Color?

Jedi_Knigh

I asked my mom for The Sims 3 for my birthday and I'm already planning my sims. I heard the skin colors included red, blue, and green, and wondered is that still true? Or did they patch that out? I see plenty of sims on the internet with unusual skin colors like that. Also how can I get two-toned hair?

Answer
Yes they still have those skin tones. As for hair when you go to pick a hair stlye the colors will be at the bottom if you want to costumize the color look in the corner for a little paintbrush and you can make different toned hair. Any color imaginable

Where can i get this sims 3 nightlife hair?

Bubblelove

If you look on the sims 3 nightlife box they have 6 parts to it, the top left part there is a blonde sim being photographed and she is wearing a red dress and sunglassses. Where can i get that hair and dress for my sims, its not included in the game and i downloaded the celeb pack and its not in that either, i really want that hair for my sims. DONT SAY " try the exchange" Either find me a link to it or tell me what pack to download thats what you get points for!
when i said celeb pack i means the red carpet collection

Answer
The red dress is in the expansion pack (I think it's black originally in CAS, but you can change the color). I don't know about the hair. It's pretty similar to a style that comes in the EP, but it's not exactly the same.

You can see pics of the dresses on this blog:
http://mysims3blog.blogspot.com/2010/10/new-late-night-screenshot-and-5-new-cas.html

It's the black and gray one. You change the main color to red and the trim to black.

what is sims 3 like ?

iiM4 4 Dii

what is sims 3 like?

Answer
The sims 3 is really cool. The fingers are actually separated (they lazed in sims 2) and you don't have to call a taxi or get in the car to go somewhere. You can just go to the map view and click where you want to go. Now you can even go to other Sims' houses. One thing I had a problem with was that sometimes the graphics would go all loopy on me like beams of gray and black and the red carpeting would turn blue and the graphics would just be weird. I really like create-a-sim though. It allows you to make almost any sim you want except you can't make your own hairstyle. You can choose any color for the clothes, hair, eyes, etc.

What makes Sims 3 better than Sims 2?

Entities

Answer
Well, you can create and customize the sims in the sims 3 any way you want. For example my sims have red skin, black eyes, pink hair, and all of their outfits have soccer balls covered in them. Plus, I can make all of my furniture camo instead of the sims 2 where all I can get the camo stuff only if it comes like that. Also, you can make sims actually look like real people, plus they have moodlets. Moodlets have stuff that says "mourning because of wittenssing death." - 50 mood or first romance "because of socialization + 50 mood which all of them very much effect their mood. You can also have stuff like favorites such as favorite color, which when you age up you are most likely to wear that color, favorite foods, which you are the most happy eating and make the best and favorite style of music which puts your sim in the best mood while listening and automaticcally turns on when your sim turns on the stereo. You also have traits like unflirty which makes your sims hate to flirt or natural cook which makes them a cooking master. In the sims 2, all you have to choose from is nice, mean, playful, serious, neat, sloppy, lazy, active, outgoing, and shy, while the sims 2 has over 50 traits to choose from. In summary, the sims 3 is a totally customizeable game and is based on true real life. I love playing this game and so does everybody else that I know. :)

Sims 3 (for mac) color/graphics problem.?

mel87v

When playing the game, which I haven't even gotten past the "make your own sim" part because I'm so frustrated...there are buildings/sims/landscapes that are all blue and red (obviously not what it's supposed to be) and have question marks on them. Even when trying to make my own sim, I can only change the body type, hair doesn't show, colors don't show.

Any ideas?

Answer
There's been a lot of complaints about Sims 3 not running well on Macs. Do you have the minimum specs?

Mac system requirements for The Sims 3 call for an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X 10.5.7 or later, 2GB RAM, ATI X1600, Nvidia 7300 GT or GMA X3100 or better 3D graphics, at least 6.1GB of hard disk space. The game will not run on PowerPC-based Macs or Macs equipped with Intel GMA 950 graphics.

How do I change hair color in Sims 3?

Ruthie

Okay, still a novice here...but I was looking at challenges, and I came across Veronica Starr. She has the most beautiful hair color ever...and on Sims 2 you had to go to the bodyshop or dowload. how do you do it on Sims 3?

Answer
Use a mirror and select change appreance, but note this once you change the hair color any children from that sim will have the same hair color. My daughter changed one of her sims hair color to pink with red lips, that sim's children had pink hair and red lips.

how do the genetics work in the sims 3?

loveeee [:

The father sim had red hair and the mother had brown with reddish tones, their daughter turned out to have the blackest of black hair. There are no grandparents, why did this happen?
in another family, the same thing happened except all 3 sons had blond hair, this time the grandmother had blond hair.

can anyone explain to me if they know why my children are having 'out there' hair colors?

Answer
Sims 3 genetics are weird.
I don't think anyone has decoded exactly how it works yet.

What exactly is the game Sims 3 about?

I'm really bored this summer and I've been thinking of buying Sims 3. I've heard about it, I know it's where you create your own character or w/e but what exactly is it about? Do we get to interact w/ other people online, after paying for the game, downloading it onto my computer, do I also have to pay additional to buy items in game?

Answer
It's a game. Sequal to the best selling computer game of all time. Basically you can do anything:

You get married, have kids, learn to walk/talk/get potty trained, buy/build a house, get furniture, get a job, learn skills, make money, paint, garden, plant cheese and make a money tree, fish, go around town, get a spa package, eat in, eat out, become a master chef, go to school, get honer roll, be in a good mood, be in a bad mood, get killed by killer flies (well, that was only in sims 2), adopt, change your hair, change your outfit, get a promotion, get a raise, become a mad scientist/astronaut/secret agent,

Start from scratch and make your own sims which have infinite possibilities. Choose hair, name, age (toddler, child, teen, young adult, adult, elder- They'll grow up and die eventually), eyes, nose, mouth, cloths, skin color (blue, red, and green included), favorite food/color/music. Choose your personality by picking 5 from over 100 "traits" (evil, artistic, insane, romantic, kleptomaniac). Repete for up to 8 family members (or just roommates, they don't have to be related)

(Or if your too lazy, pick a premade family and move them in a house. If your REALLY lazy, there are even families already in homes with premade jobs, skills, and lives.)

Then, once you make your family, either buy an empty lot and make your house (people make amazing houses: http://www.thesims3.com/exchange/lots ) or move into a premade house. It's up to you. Houses and lots range in prices depending on how good they are. After you settle down and get rich, you can move into better houses.

Then after you get a house, you do the stuff in the first paragraph...

-The GAME isn't online, but you can get custom stuff online. Also I would never pay for sims 3 items with the points. There are a trillion sites out there doing that for free, and it IS legal. Not like pirating, they encourage it. But while there isn't any online interactions, the are lots of sims inside the game you build relationships with.
