Is there really a laser hair removal that works on red hair?

Im really interested in getting laser hair removal but i have red hair and fairly tan skin. i have heard there is a new technology, ELOS technology, that works for any hair color and any skin color. Has anyone tried this with red or blonde hair and had good results?

Answer
Nope... doesn't work on blonde or red sorry

Okay... science answer:

You grow in at least 80% of your hair during puberty. When you have laser hair removal the hairs it kills will never grow again. But you still have up to 20% of your normal thickness that will grow in throughout the rest of your life. So people get touch up sessions every 3-5 years after their big 6 treatments. You need about 6 treatments, one each 2 months for a year, because the hair grows in different stages and it can only kill hair in the active growth stage. The laser works by targeting dark color (the hair follicle) and passing through light color (the skin) the hair and skin have to be very different shades of color for the hair to work. The darker and coarser the hair and lighter the skin, the better results you will have.

Okay... Personal Experience:

I've had 2 out of my 6 treatments so far. It HURTS! It's like being poked with a sewing needle over and over, but it's not as painful as a tattoo, and that's not as painful as childbirth, maybe that can put the pain in perspective for you =) I've had my legs, underarms, and bikini area done. When you get your bikini area done they do ALL of it! Including spreading your butt and vaginal lips apart to laser all the cracks... It's sorta awkward. After the 2 treatments I've had so far I've lost about 60% of leg hair, 40% bikini hair, and 25% underarms hair. It's because the underarms hair is the thinnest and the leg hair is the coarsest. But the legs are the most painful. The more it hurts the better it works.
I spent this much for 6 treatments in each area:
Bikini-$750
Underarms-$750
Legs (toes to bikini)-$2,500

Email me if you have any more questions about it!

I am going to dye my hair tomorrow and I was wondering if anybody knows about hair dye?

JaMila C

I have some red hair dye and a 40 volume hair developer. The only problem is the hair dye says I should use a 30 volume hair developer... if I use the 40 what will happen? will that make my red darker or lighter?

Answer
40 volume will make it lighter(for red it'll be very very intensifying don't do it! and will damage your hair).
Volume are for Level of lift, it range From 10-40.
Depending on how light your hair is right now? did you already have it previously color done? and have some regrowth? if none of those then good.

If your natural hair color is from:
black you may use 30 vol. but risk of having hot roots(means roots will be lighter than the mid-lengh to ends.
dark to med brown use 20 vol.
med brown to light brown 10 vol.(because the hair is light enough to deposit the red in)
any lighter than that I wouldn't recommend it because it'll be very bright and fade tremendously.

P.S. Red is very hard to get rid of and can only dye it back to very dark to cover it. Otherwise it will always stay under tone. Good Luck!

I have naturally brown hair and I was wondering how long would it stay in if I dyed it a natural red hair color?

Answer
Red color tends to fade the quickest. If you take really good care of your newly colored hair, you can probably get it to last for 3 months. Sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners are the easiest on colored hair. A lot of brands claim to be safe on color-treated hair, but reality is, they contain harsh chemicals that will strip your color.

In my opinion, the best shampoo/conditioner for red-dyed hair is 'Healthy Sexy Hair's Reinvent Color Care' It's really gentle, and it will leave your hair super soft. It is a bit pricey if your used to using drug-store brands, but the payoff is well worth it.
If salon brands are out of your price range, try Aveeno's Pure Renewal or L'Oreal Evercream. They're both also sulfate-free and will be nice to your newly dyed hair.

You should avoid using heat on colored hair as well. Blow dryers and curling irons will dry your hair, and dry hair fades a lot quicker than healthy hair.

Also, don't try to extend your color by leaving it in longer or adding more dye than needed. It will just wreck your hair quicker. I would personally recommend getting your hair done by a professional (especially if this is a new experience for you), because it's very easy to mess up with those boxed colors. if you are dying at home, be sure to pick the correct color for your hair. Since your hair is brown, you may want to strip (or bleach) your hair first, for the best color depth. You can dye dark hair red without stripping it, but it won't turn a vibrant red - it will be more subtle. This is why I say going to a salon is best. There's a lot of factors that can change the way your color will come out, and it's best to know what's what before using a permanent color.

I hope this helped out some. Good luck!

What's the best way to remove permanent red hair color from naturally blonde hair?

Shannon

My hair is colored medium red/brown, but I'm wanting to go closer to my natural color...light blonde...or maybe even slightly darker. I know i can just go to a salon and ask for help, but I'm trying to avoid that if possible. ;o)

Thanks for any advice!

Answer
You can do one of two things, to remove most of that dye. Links have been moved, might have to type them out.

1. By using Tide detergent with shampoo
http://www.wikihow.com/Remove-Dye-from-Hair

or

2. By shampooing you hair mix with a bit of Dawn.
http://www.ehow.com/how_2139523_use-dawn-dishwashing-liquid-lightening.html

Here's an example what hair stripping will do to your hair.
It is worst than hair dyes. "I accidentally dyed my hair this awful black, stripped it, and now it is this crunchy crispy mess!"

Hair strippers are chemical treatments which are intended to strip out artificial color pigment with less risk or damage to the hair. The chemicals used are called reducing agents.
Certain 'metal' strippers containing sodium sulphoites are sold for reducing hair dyed with metallic dyes, as these dyes react violently with tint stripper containing hydrogen peroxide-the subsequent reaction may cause so much heat that the hair gets dissolved.
Google hair dyes & cancer also. There are those who tan & smoke all their lives & do not get cancer, but there are those 2nd hand & 3rd hand smoke who do and are currently on oxygen because they can't breath or have cancer. Same with hair dyes.

Here's a new article I found re: henna, which is supposed to be better for you than reg. box dye. It's a good read!
http://www.hennaforhair.com/ppd/pjackson.html

Example of one who's hair is falling and stopped growing:
"my hair had been bleached many times and can't grow past a certain length
its also falling out . i stopped bleaching it.
i just need to add lenght! but if i can stop it from falling out..that be great too"

Source(s):
I know hair. I have over 4 decades of hair know-how. I have silky, shiny, soft, smooth very healthy hair down to my knees. Previously damaged by perming & dyeing in the 80's & 90's. I've known people in their 30's whose hair stopped growing from ironing their hair in the 70's.

I am looking to finding the right hair color that will complement, not match, my skinâs undertones.

In General
My skin tone: I dont burn but tan decently easy. I am pale though but with some olive in my skin tone. So I think im cool.
My natural hair color is: medium brown but currently is a unknown mix of random colors.
Eyes: hazel: Deep blue, Dark green, spec of golden brown (considered to be warm)

How do I really nail down my skin type and find the right hair color to revive my complexion? Is my coloring light or medium to deep? I want to be a red head if possible? Can someone help me figure out what color would make my complexion glow and skin will look healthier than ever before?A flattering hair shade to brighten up my features and give you a dose of instant glamour.

Answer
You would look gorgeous with like a dark auburn color or medium golden brown. Any color with red tones would bring out your eyes and complement your skin tone tremendously!! The blonde is pretty don't get me wrong but it drowns out youre features instead of completmenting/magnifying them to bring them out (eyes, skin tone, the shape of your face). Trust me you would look amazing!! The 1st pic is a color chart that might help. I would def try LoReal Preference Dark Auburn Here are some ideas:

burgundy hair dye on red hair?

:)

i dye my hair a dark red color, loreal deep red. and i bought a burgundy dye yesterday, just wondering what kind of color ill get. was imagining a really dark red purple. that is what im trying to get.

Answer
As long as the hair colour that you are intending to use is darker than your present hair colour, it should turn out to be close to the colour on the box of the new colourant. However, it sounds to me like you actually are looking for a different colour, in which case you may want to try an interactive colour chart to help you etexactly what you want.

Dakota

How weird is it to have red hair and purple eyes? I know red hair is rare and i know purple eyes are rare. How weird is it for me to have both naturally?

Answer
Red hair is stunning on its own, and it's not as common as other hair colors. The only other person I've heard of to have violet eyes was Elisabeth Taylor, and people have talked about her eyes since she entered Hollywood. If you truly do have both naturally, then I would consider yourself extremely lucky, as that would make you more unique than almost anyone! I certainly wouldn't call it weird, you should think of it as something that sets you completely apart from the rest, and that's always a good thing. Who wants to look like everyone else?

Well I don't really know what to do about this. I'm a girl going into 7th grade but there are a few things on the dress code which are: all shades of brown, blue, green and white. Colors are interchang eable, and must be plain without stripes, plaids and/or prints. Black, red and gray may not be worn. Students may not wear shirt and pants in the same color. And jeans only on Fridays. I have curly curly hair an inch above the shoulder that will soon be black. Any suggestions?

How do you get red hair dye out?

ILYbabee

About a month and a half ago, I dyed my hair a fire-truck like red. It faded everywhere except the roots, so I decided to go to the salon and dye it brown. The salon tried dying it twice, and it still stayed that awful reddish brown. It looks bad, & I can't cover it up because my school's dress code doesn't allow hats.
Are there any tips on getting it out? O:

Answer
Yea, but your going to have to re-dye it brown after.
You need conditioner, (Or non-colorsafe shampoo but it might dry out your hair a little)
Some lemon juice
Cinnamon
Vitamin C tablets

Make sure your hair is dry. Crush the vitamins into a powder. It really has to look powdery, like it has to look like cocaine lol. You may need a alot of tablets, it depends. Mix it with the conditioner or shampoo so its a paste. Then add two spoonfuls of lemon, and one of cinnamon powder. Mix together and apply to dry hair. Leave it in for up to an hour. Then rinse.

I've used to to remove black and brown dye from my roots and it worked just do it a couple of times and it may leave your hair a bit of an orange tint after because it's like an at home safe lightener. Also a girl got almost all of the purple in hair removed with this.

Good luck!

When does red hair dye start to fade?

Q. I just dyed my hair with "Very Auburn" by Loreal's Ferria,
and am planning on not washing it as frequently, in very cold water with shampoo that's for red hair.
it's like, a dark cherry red color and my natural hair color is like medium brown. however, i dyed my hair like a million times beforehand even though before the red it matched my natural roots, it went through lots of bleaching and dying beforehand.

Answer
... the next day.
Red hair dye is one of the hardest colours to maintain. It will almost always either turn orange or pink in a little over a week no matter if it is perm or not.
With your hair already being somewhat dark, it will probably wash out completely.
If you use the shampoo for the red hair it constantly refreshes your colour (beware your shower will look like you killed someone!) so that will help a lot but it wont keep it forever. ^^

How much damage does dying your hair do?

Kanade

I have naturally black hair and i dip dyed one inch of the ends with red hair dye. I used Loreal Highlights and a 20 volume developer, so the red is only really visible if there's a lot of light in the room. I have never dyed, or bleached my hair before. I would always let my hair airdry instead of using a dryer. My hair is usually dry cause I would wash it everyday. If I decide to get rid of the red, would it be better to cut off the one inch or just dye it black. How much damage will the products leave? How much damage is already there?

Answer
If, you dye your hair once or twice in a very great while it won't do much damage...But, if you dye your hair every month or week it will fry your hair...Blonde, is the most hard on your hair because it has bleach in it my Mother always use to say...Other, colors won't hurt your hair bad as Blonde will...If, it is your first time highlighting it it won't hurt it I dyed my hair about 3 times in my life and it is still healthy...If, you continue to dye it then it might make your hair coarse...And, if you decide not to highlight it you can always get highlight hair extensions...Hope, I helped............

Where/how do gingers get their hideous pigmentation from?

red hair melanocortin 1 receptor
 on http://reference.findtarget.com/search/Haplogroup_R1b_%28Y-DNA%29
red hair melanocortin 1 receptor image

Serious question lah. Is it like somebody growing with a 6th finger and such? Like just a small handicap or is it just more like blue eyes with blond hair?

Answer
The pigment pheomelanin gives red hair its distinctive colour. Red hair has far more of the pigment pheomelanin than it has of the dark pigment eumelanin.

The genetics of red hair, discovered in 1997, appear to be associated with the melanocortin-1 receptor (MC1R), which is found on chromosome 16. Red hair is associated with fair skin colour due to low concentrations of eumelanin throughout the body of those with red hair. This lower melanin-concentration confers the advantage that a sufficient concentration of important Vitamin D can be produced under low light conditions. However, when UV-radiation is strong (like in regions close to the equator) the lower concentration of melanin leads to several medical disadvantages, such as a higher risk of skin cancer.

The MC1R recessive variant gene that gives people red hair and fair skin is also associated with freckles, though it is not uncommon to see a redhead without freckles.

Even a couple that does not have red hair can have a baby with red hair because they could be carriers of the gene, so watch what you say, your baby could come out a ginger!

What nationality do freckles originate from?

ali

I'm not talking freckles that come from tanning, i'm talking generic freckles.

Answer
Nationalities most likely to have freckles:
Irish
Scottish
Welsh
Swedish
Norwegian

Freckles are small tan spots of melanin on the exposed skin or membrane of people with fair complexions, though rarely people of African descent get them.

Having freckles is genetic and is related to the presence of the melanocortin-1 receptor MC1R gene variant, which is dominant. Freckling can also be triggered by long exposure to sunlight, such as suntanning. When the sun's rays penetrate the skin, they activate melanocytes which can cause freckles to become darker and more numerous, although the distribution of melanin is not the same. Fair hair such as blonde, or more commonly red hair, are usually common with the genetic factor of freckles, but none so much as fair or pale skin.

Freckles are predominantly found on the face, although they may appear on any skin exposed to the sun. Freckles are rare on infants, and more common on children before puberty; they are less common on adults.

Children who do not produce enough melanin to protect their skin against harmful rays from the sun develop temporary freckles associated with childhood that usually go away upon puberty, once more melanin is produced. People with the fairest skin often do not produce enough melanin, and so freckles are present after puberty and into adulthood, indicating that individual as a genetic carrier for freckles.

Upon exposure to the sun, freckles will reappear if they have been altered with creams or lasers and not protected from the sun, but do however fade with age in some cases. Freckles are not a skin disorder. People with a predisposition to freckles may be especially susceptible to sunburn and skin cancer, and should therefore take extra care to protect themselves in the sun with a daily sunblock of at least 15 SPF.

Two Types of Freckles
Ephelides is a genetic trait. Its used to describe a freckle that is flat, light brown or red, and fades in the winter. Ephelides are more common in those with light complexions and with the regular use of sunblock, can be suppressed.

Lentigines (also known as sun spots) are freckles that do not fade in the winter. Rather, they form after years of exposure to the sun. Lentigines are more common in older people.

Complexion refers to the natural color, texture, and appearance of the skin, especially that of the face. The word is derived from the Late Latin complexi, which initially referred in general terms to a combination of things, and later in physiological terms, to the balance of humors.

Varying complexionsThe four humours were four fluids that were thought to permeate the body and influence its health. The concept was developed by ancient Greek thinkers around 400 BC. People were thought to be either Choleric, Melancholic, Phlegmatic, or Sanguine.

Complexion was thus thought to be a sign of character. Many surnames arose out of the existence of a complexion whose particularities may have differed from that of the village or townâs population, and thus attracted enough notice to warrant a nickname. The Irish surname Rogan (from Ruadhán) referred to a person with red hair, or a ruddy complexion. The Scottish surname Bain (from bàn) referred to a fair-haired person, while Dunn (from donn) implies brown/dark hair, and Duff (from dubh) implies black hair. The English surname Brown, an extremely common surname in the English-speaking world, was originally applied to anyone with a slightly darker complexion, in the same manner that the surname White was applied to anyone with a particularly light complexion. The surname Gough is derived from the Welsh goch or coch, meaning "red" or "ruddy." King William II of England was called William Rufus ("the Red") because of his ruddy complexion. Ludovico il Moro ("the Moor") was called as such because of his swarthy complexion.

"Mama! Papa!"

Aden opened his eyes slowly, sitting up a bit. He looked down at the sleeping figure, who was now snuggled against his chest. Smiling he leaned forward and kissed her forehead. Whispering, "I'll get this one babe."

Getting up, he walked over to a small crib which held a small strawberry blonde child. Aden smiled, at the child, picking her up. "What are you doing up, Lacey-Bell?"

"Hungwy Dada." She said innocently, reaching up to grab her father's striking red hair. Aden kissed her hand, as she laughed. Slowly making his way to a small concrete slab, he sat the child down and turned around to grab a slightly dirty bottle. Opening a small refrigerator he poured some slightly spoiled milk. He put the bottle in her mouth and she sucked on it greedily. Aden smiled, kissing Lacey's head softly.

It was quiet for a few minutes, well until Lacey stopped drinking and wanted to be put down. Quietly walking back over to the crib, he made his way to the bed. Sitting on it, he reached at the still sound asleep woman and brushed a stray piece of hair behind her ear. The girl moaned, opening her icy blue eyes.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty." Aden smiled.

Colleen smiled slightly, pulling the threadbare blanket over her head. "Go away, Aden.. Too tired.." Aden laughed, slipping the blanket off of her. Colleen mumbled a few curses, before turning her back to her husband.

Laying down, he wrapped his arm around her waist. He leaned in kissing the back of her head. Colleen blushed, turning around. She kissed his lips briefly, before leaning back and hiding her face in his chest. Blushing she muttered, "Learn to wear a shirt.."

He laughed, running a hand through his bright red hair. Colleen bit back a curse, kissing his lips before getting up and throwing off her shirt. Aden grinned, hoping they would do what he wanted to do. She raised an eyebrow at her husband, as she began to undress more. "Aden get dressed."

"Why?" Aden groaned. Colleen rolled her eyes, slipping a soft yellow dress on.

"Mama? Papa?" Lacey mumbled from her crib, grabbing the bars on her crib. Smiling, Colleen walked over to her child, and picked her up. Lacey smiled at her mother, reaching for her mother's sun-kissed hair. She kissed the child's forehead, getting a laugh from her.

"Good morning, my little Lacey-Bell." Colleen said sweetly. Aden got up, and walked over to Colleen and Lacey, wrapping his muscles around Colleen, kissing the side of her head. The girl turned around, clutching Lacey closer. "Not in front of the baby, Aden."

Frowning, he dropped his arms and backed away from the duo. "Like I said, Aden get dressed." Aden sighed, going over to a small closet and pulled out a gray shirt.

Answer
Honestly, I very much enjoyed it, it was sweet. But, you did turn me off a little by starting with dialog, I just don't like it when writers do that (it's a personal preference). Also, try rewording and editing so it can sound smoother then it is. Other then that it's fine. Overall I'd say it's heart-warming and cute, though. :)

Good luck!

What colour clothes should I wear with RED HAIR?

MissAussie

I have recently dyed my hair red from darkest brown and found alot of my clothes don't suit anymore :/ what are colours to avoid with red hair and what colors will compliment it? Looking for shirts and dresses mainly. Thankyou.

Answer
Colors to AVOID with red hair are red or reddish-pink tops, as they blend with your hair and look weird. Plum and dark colors need to be avoided as much as possible, too. ESPECIALLY GREEN AND YELLOW! With green, you'll look like an akward Christmas ornament, and with yellow, you'll look like Ronald Mc Donald. GOOD colors to go with your new hair, are pale, pearl, salmon, etc. (Basically, dainty, light shades of pink), baby, sky, and very light shades of blue. Violet or very, very pale shades of purple would look nice as accesories. And if you want to wear jeans, washed, distressed jeans will be a good choice.
BTW, I admire that you dyed your hair a unique color. I love people who aren't afraid to express their individuality.

I am dark skinned, about the color of a Hershey bar, and 14 years old. My hair is jet black. Sometimes I wish I had a fair skin tone simply so that I could experiment with hair color. Would that color auburn look unnatural or just not look right? I want my hair color to compliment me, of course.
Oh and if you have any suggestions for what hair color might look right on me, feel free to tell me. Brown looks terrible on me, though---during the summer my hair turns brown and I have to dye it back black because it's the exact same color as my skin and it just looks terrible.

Answer
i think a dark auburn would look nice if you wanted to experiment and don't think you need to be any lighter! i think brown skin is the most beautiful skin tone and i'm white! lol

How To Convince Your Parents To Let You Dye Your Hair?

Lizz Summe

So, basically, the past couple of years, I've been dying my hair. First it was black, and for three years, it changed colors constantly, ranging in all colors of the rainbow. The last I dyed my hair was in July of 2012, and it is now the 24th of February, 2013, and I dyed it back to my natural color. I'm surprised I lasted that long without doing SOMETHING to the color. My mother fell in love with the brown again, but I really want to dye my hair red, and she won't let me because she argues that brown is such a 'gorgeous' color on me and that I'd look horrible with red hair, even though I've had red hair on more than one occasion, and it was one of her favorite colors. Please, just tell me how to persuade her otherwise. I miss my crazy colored hair.

Answer
dye it black with one red streak in it. or try a different shade of brown. try dark brown with light caramel highlights. brown hair is gorgeous and red is kind of out of season now. but its your choice. you can add highlights and lowlights to brown hair or try ombre hair. i know someone with brown hair and pink peek-a-boo highlights. its better to just go natural and listen to your mom.

What helps red hair dye last longer?

Brandi C

What helps red hair dye last longer & stay the color it starts out to be?

Also whats a good deep conditioner i can get at walmart or target.

Answer
To help your red hair dye last longer, you will need to buy a shampoo for red colored hair that is actually red, lol.

What it does is, each time you shampoo your hair, it adds back a little bit of red at a time, making your red dyed hair last longer and also prevents fading and that "coppery/orangey look".

In regards to a good deep conditioner, I am in Australia, but I'll try. Pantene. Don't know which one in particular, but check out the range, they're pretty good and not over-priced.

also there r three grades of pot there is stress which i the cheapest whichis what u want to get when u want a lot it is usually dark green to a greenish brown

then u have your chronic this is a slightly fluffier type of budand of a slightly lighter green

then there is kush kush has an outdoorsy taste and is usually really light green

there are hairs that grow on weed u can safely smoke these color hairs purple red yellow orange and blue

only smoke white hair if u get it straight from the plant

Is there a big difference between different types of weed?

I looooove

Like, I'm doing some research before I decide if and how I want to try it out. And apparently there's really cheap stuff called schwag, about $50 per ounce, and then other types like orange kush, which is considerably more ($300 an ounce, according to one site).

The guy I might try to buy from said that orange kush is "the shizzzz", and so I'm wondering if it's really so much better as to be worth the extra money.

Answer
There is a huge difference!
Cheap dirtweed {Schwag} tastes terrible, has tons of seeds and sticks and doesn't get you high no matter how much you smoke.
Mid-grade is usually brown to green, has some seeds and is usually a decent buzz.
The high grade stuff is well worth getting, IMO, it varies in taste, but is always skunky or piney, it's crystallized and bright green with red, purple, white, orange or multicolored tiny hairs. It should be fluffy and sticky and it should only take one hit for a virgin stoner.
It's definitely worth it. Thing is, you don't need an ounce!!!!! Get yourself a $25 bag of the really good stuff. That's plenty for you to try it out. Smoke one or two hits to start, put it down and come back in about 10 minutes if you're not high. You will be though! Oh, and go to a smoke shop and get a little glass pipe, have them tell you how to use it {say tobacco when asking questions}.

How do I find a good box hair dye?

My hair has never been dyed before. Currently, though, I'm getting a little bored of the light-to-medium brown color. I think I would like to dye it a reddish-brown color. Somewhere between Rory Gilmore and Emma Stone. I just reallyyyy don't want for it to look that too-bright, fake red color. I would prefer for it too look as natural as possible.
Can you recommend a box dye to help me achieve this? Have you had any experience trying to achieve this?

Thank you!

Answer
Feria by L'Oreal Paris is a good box dye for natural looking colour. You could also try natural instincs which is a semi permanent colour, so it doesn't damage your hair and it washes out so if you don't like it you don't have to wait for it to grow out.

what is the best hair color in your opinion for a girl having white skin?

Willy

also, her eyes are light brown and i n the sun you see some green color in them.so what hair color do you prefer?

Answer
I'd say go with red hair color. Emma Stone has really fair skin, and although she's a natural blonde, she looks better with red hair. Don't go with black; it might look too harsh on you.

Q. I naturally have a dark coppery red hair color, but really blonde (nearly transparent) eyebrows and eyelashes. I wear brown mascara, and recently ive been coloring my eyebrows a bit with a blond-ish colored eye pencil. Now I'm considering just getting my eyebrows tinted, because my eyebrows are still really light, and when I sweat (I'm an athlete) my eyebrows turn a little green and become un-natural looking because of the eye pencil. I just want my eyebrows to be visible and natural looking. Any advice on what color to get them tinted?

Answer
you might also consider permanent makeup; my gf got this done & it looks good

What would the effect of taking melanin supplements have on my red hair?

Joseph P

First off, I have no interest in changing my natural red hair color. I have a shade many people dye their hair to get. Anyway, I learned that red hair is caused a a lack of melanin. I was simply wondering if melanin supplements would change it at all or just darken it?

Answer
PABA
PABA or para-aminobenzoic acid is a chemical component of pteroylglutamic acid, also known as folic acid. PABA is often used topically to provide protection to the skin from the sun. Expert opinions differ on whether the chemical should be considered a vitamin on its own or if it is just a component of the B-complex family of vitamins. Some herbalists suggest taking PABA supplements to help reverse the redness of the hair process. This recommendation seems to be based on a very small and dated study published in the December 1950 issue of the Journal of Investigative Dermatology in which a researcher noted a change in hair color in approximately 25 percent of the 20 patients he treated with PABA for other conditions. It is important to consult with your doctor before taking PABA supplementation, because PABA is stored by the body and can build to toxic levels if taken in excessive quantities.

What shade of red lipstick should I try to wear?

Tasya

I have a Gala performance (One of those $10,000 a table deals) this weekend, and the director of it just told me that I have to go with a red lipstick. I'm wearing a very audrey hepburn-esq dress and have her coouring. My colouring is that of her, Emmy Rossum and Anne hathaway. (the princess diaries girl) Dark bown hair, big dark brown eyes and pale skin.
Me dress is black with a white shrug. I'm singing Ten Cents a DAnce from Sinple Simon (Low Jazz Ballad). IThe whol thing is entitled "That's entertainment".

I also do not have a huge budget for this. I have 50$ to spre on this. So please give examples and pictures and tips on the makeup in general. With thanks.

Answer
Pet, you will have a lovely time, I'm sure.

Your colouring soudns divine.

Line your lips with a brown pencil first. Wear a deep red lipstick but put a small dot of bright pink just in the center of both upper and lower lips. Blend the red/pink with the brown liner.
