Answer
Call them, we don't work for the Hair Cuttery.

FYI: Style meets chemistry meets biology: We're talking hair coloring.

Playing with chemicals is not like playing with clothes, or doing a manicure, there are penalties for playing chemicals in the lab. Even hair color experts at the salon are not rocket scientists, they do a bang up dye jobs to their clients or their own hair.

Chemicals can enter the body through the skin.

London, Feb 20, 2013 I've been saying that since 2009.
Hair dyes, which include home hair colouring kits and those used at pricey salons, are linked to deadly cancer-causing chemicals, warn scientists. In 2009 the Mail revealed that women who used hair dyes more than nine times a year had a 60% greater risk of contracting blood cancer.
A year later the European Commission banned 22 hair dyes which put long-term users at risk of bladder cancer. < < < <â¨

The chemical is not new and is present in a number of brands of dark hair colours, acting to help adhere the dye to the hair so that it doesn't wash out. Itâs made from coal tar and is used in both permanent and semi-permanent hair colours. Itâs well-known to be a cause of serious allergic reactions -- including something called contact dermatitis which can lead to rashes, blisters, and open sores.
PPD is sometimes added to black henna tattoos and that using them is not safe. Allergic reactions usually begin within two to 10 days following application. One bad reaction can lead to sensitivities to other products such as hair dye, sunblock and some types of clothing dyes. Oftentimes, it's using the product a second or third time.

The British woman who went into coma after a reaction to hair dye has died after a year. Updated 11-25-12. The woman suffered a heart failure, struggled for breath and became unconsciousness. Her family blamed paraphenylenediamine, a chemical found in hair colour. Her family has now called for paraphenylenediamine to be banned from home dye kits. What is the best hair color for very pale skin?

I'm the kind of pale that make people ask me if I need a doctor, although I go tanning, you can still tell it's my natural color, & tanning fades away quickly. So, since I'm stuck like this forever, what's the best hair color that will liven up my face? I have naturally medium dark brown hair that is usually straight (but naturally curly) & goes down to just below my shoulders.

Answer
i would go for an auburn colour, as your hair is already dark it wouldn't make it much lighter or darker just a different tone. Red tones look good with pale skin as it looks more natural. Something like this...

try maybalenne (how ever u spell that).com

all of that stuff
Always curl lashes before applying mascara. You can actually curl lashes AFTER mascara is applied, as long as your mascara is dried (a good tip to know if you want to curl your lashes later in the day without removing your mascara).

Don't forget your bottom lashes. For years I avoided mascara on them until a makeup expert showed me how much mascara on my lower lashes really make my eyes pop. I rarely go without now. To apply mascara on lower lashes, hold the brush vertically, then sweep it back and forth.

Individual false lashes are exotic, gorgeous and can look natural if applied correctly. Large cities offer "lash bars" in the hottest department stores. If they're too long, you can trim them with scissors.

For a doe-eyed, seductive look lining your lower lids with a creamy white eye pencil.

White liner may sound odd, but it really opens up the eye. You can also try putting it on the inside corner of both your upper and your lower lids.

Another way to open up eyes is to skip the white eyeliner and opt instead for a platinum highlighter. Dot along the browbone, then blend in. Apply highlighter at the inner corners of your eyes. Follow with eye shadow.

Make sure your brows are manicured. Until you get your brows professionally waxed, tweezed or threaded, you won't realize how much they affect the rest of your face. Cleaning up your brow line of stray hairs, adding a slight arch and filling in sparse spots are key to making eyes look much larger.

I find once you get a professional brow job, you can do it yourself for a few months using the pro job as a "map" of where to tweeze. To keep brows in place, try a clear eyebrow gel, clear mascara or just spritz a bit of hairspray onto an old toothbrush and brush brows in perfect place.
--------------------------------------â¦
If you are Asian and have small eyes like me, you probably have tried different methods to make your eyes look larger. What makes it more of a reason to do so is if you also have single eyelids. This is because most Asians have more of a fatty deposit in the area between their eyebrows and their eyelids. I have found that there a few different tricks you can do to create a look that will make your eyes appear more large and dramatic.

First, line your eyes with a waterproof or long lasting eyeliner preferably in black, which creates a more dramatic look. You will want to line the rims of your eyes (the inside portion of eye above the bottom lashes and the portion of the eye below the top lashes). You could either use an eye pencil or a liquid eyeliner. I have found that with a liquid eyeliner it is easier to line the top portion of the inner rim of your eye, but can be more difficult when lining the portion above your top lashes and the inner rim portion of your bottom lashes unless you have continuous practice and maintain a steady hand. An eye pencil is much easier to use, but may not be as bold as liquid eyeliner if you are looking for a more dramatic look.

Next, use a lengthening and volumizing mascara in the darkest color available and apply as many coats necessary or desired to create a more dramatic look. I have noticed that if you have sparse lashes there really is no need to apply mascara on your bottom lashes since there are so few anyway and the eyeliner will have already filled in the effect. Also, I noticed that if you let your lashes dry in between every few coats, the dramatic look will build more quickly and effectively instead of piling one coat after another continuously and you end up having those awful "spider leg" looking lashes.

Well I had dyed my hair a red violet hair color and now I want to dye it a dark auburn or a dark chocolate brown.Would I have to bleach? My roots are starting to show my natural dark brown hair, also.

If the color you are wanting is darker than the color you currently have on, you do not need to bleach first. Bleaching or using a color remover is only necessary if you are wanting to go lighter.
Good Luck!

Why does violet hair color cancel out red?

Kitryna

My mother-in-law is going to cosmetology school and has been told that violet hair color cancels out red tones, but no one has been able to tell her WHY. She's looking for a sort of scientific answer of how it effects the hair and what the results are so that she can fully understand what is going on with the colors - she is more used to paint where mixing violet with red results in, well, red. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Answer
Actually mixing violet with red, as in paint results in red-violet.

I think it is down to a chemical property and that you wouldn't be mixing the red hair color with the violet dye. The dye or hair color covers up the existing color or removes it from the hair shaft.

Ok I was born a natural redhead and I've always wanted to know how come I am the only one with red hair in my family. If anyone has any links or suggestions on why this is please let me know because i hate saying to people what they ask me how come my hair is this color and i respond I don't know.

Answer
Wow..........I think that sounds quite beautiful especially on beautiful dark skin. It's funny that you would ask this question because I use to work with a gentleman a few years back who was from Africa and he had red hair, pail skin with freckle's. I mentioned to him that I had never seen a black man with red hair and he told me that everyone in his tribe, back in his home country, all have red hair.

Apparently somewhere in your ancestry, you may have family originating from this tribe. I'm sure you know that we carry all of our ancestors gene's. It's the dominate gene that gives us our characteristics.

Don't fret, there is nothing wrong. We all (Black's) come from Africa. It's just real sad that we can probably never find out where our true home land may have been because of slavery separating families.

Stay sweet and strut that red hair.

What is the most NATURAL looking red hair color?

jaded_illu

Okay thank you all in advance, MY question is what do you think the most natural red hair dye there is out there I am looking for a red that isn't egg plant in tone nor a burgundy. A real looking red....probably a medium tone etc as well as the brand and tone of course. Whats your opinion?

Answer
Quick tip, do not use manic panic hair dye! If you do it will come out red and cool but then you cannot get the stuff out even when it fades. Then if you want to lighten your hair it will not lighten at all. Manic panic is METALLIC, that means it heats up to a very high temperature under the hair dryer and will not allow your hair to accept any other lightening treatments, etc... So just a heads up, they have great reds, but don't plan on lightening your hair after using them! I had to cut all of my hair off after trying to get highlights over it. I literally sat under the dryer and heard cracking and popping noises for about 15 minutes, it was the metallic heating up and frying my hair!!! My hair looks nice short, thank god, I didn't have much of a choice...So redhead seekers beware man haha...Just trying to save someone else from making this mistake. Manic Panic is amazing stuff, but they should have a warning label on them! Do not heat up your head!

What are some wrestling facts that are interesting that many people may not know? Here are a few that I can think of:

Randy Orton used CM Punk's music for a little while earlier in his career.

Goldberg had a no contest with Disco Inferno during his long streak in WCW.

At Wrestlemania 17, Triple H vs. Ray Lewis was originally supposed to happen, but Lewis backed out at the last minute.

Answer
Here's a bunch of random facts I found.

Only Wrestler to Lose 2 Belts at the same WrestleMania:
Kurt Angle (WM 16)

The next highest undefeated streak at Wrestlemania behind the Undertaker is Rob Van Dam at 4-0.
Edge was the highest before losing to Taker and Cena was also 4-0 I believe when he lost to Orton in the three way.

In past years, the entrant after Triple H has won the Royal Rumble.

2006: Triple H entered #1 and Rey Mysterio, the winner, entered at #2.
2008: Triple H entered #29 and John Cena entered #30 and won.
2009: Triple H was the #7 entrant and Randy Orton, who entered at #8, went on to win it.

Shawn Michaels was the first person in a Rumble match to go to the top rope.
Stan Hansen was nearly blind without glasses.
Fred "Tugboat/Shockmaster" Ottman, Dusty Rhodes and Jerry Sags are all brothers-in-law.

Scott Hall accepted Justin Credible's offer to be his best man, but he failed to get in contact with Justin before the wedding and ended up No Showing.
The original choice for the character of the Red Rooster was Curt Hennig.

**Michaels and Marty Jannetty won the WWF tag team title from Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart in October of 1990 at a taping for Saturday Night's Main Event. Neidhart had been fired and was filling contractual obligations, which including jobbing the tag titles to another team. In what should have been a minor point, the top rope broke at one point during the match. The Rockers defended the titles for a week after that, but then Neidhart was re-hired by the WWF, and Vince McMahon decided that the title change never actually happened, in one of the goofier decisions of the 90s, and one of many to affect the careers of Shawn and Bret. As an explanation, a story was sent to Pro Wrestling Illustrated about the rope break causing an "unfair working environment" for both teams, and hence the title reign was annulled. This was simply to cover up for the fact that they reported the title change as fact a week prior and needed a reason to no longer report it as such. The title change was edited out of the Main Event broadcast, and thus went down in history that the Rockers never had the belt.
**Road Dogg Jesse James (BG James) fought in Desert Storm.

**Before becoming a wrestler, Sean Morley (Val Venis) used to race Motocross.

**Ahmed Johnson played in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys.

**Faarooq (Ron Simmons) was an All American linebacker at Florida State University.
*Simmons was cut by the Cleveland Browns.
**Terri was a hair stylist for the Larry King show prior to wrestling.
**Raven was a manager in the WWF that went by the name Johnny Polo. Under this name he managed the Quebecers and Adam Bomb. He left the WWF because he wanted to wrestle, not do office stuff.

How do you make brown eyes look more colored?

red hair vs brown hair
on The Girl Without the Dragon Tattoo (or Jet Black Hair): Daily Beauty ...
red hair vs brown hair image

I have light brown eyes and i want to make them look more green or more of a golden brown. I have been told before that my eyes looked green that day, and other days really light. Does it depend on what i wear that bring out my eyes? Like would i just wear green to make it look greener, or what to make it look lighter brown. Also does lighting affect it, like sunlight might make it light brown or something.

Answer
I have the same color eyes and I also try to make them more golden or green. Your hair color is another factor that you can possibly change (ex. putting a blonde streak in the front of my black hair makes my eyes stand out because they are close in color to the blonde streak, vs. plain black hair, burgundy hair, or natural brown hair). Having lighter skin seems to make my eyes stand out more.

Personally, these are the colors I wear most: gold, copper, maroon, black, navy, purple, yellow, olive green, blue-green, red, peach

these are the colors I avoid: sky blue, silver, practically any pastel, blue-based greens, pink, white (by itself)

Basically, there are three ways to do this.
1 - use dark eye makeup to make your eyes look lighter by comparison. Black is amazing for gold eyes, but might be too overwhelming if you're very "Anglo" complected or have light hair.
2 - use similar colors to accent the desired color. Yellow, gold, copper, olive green look good also.
3 - use colors opposite on the color wheel to create contrast. Blue-based purples and cobalt blues bring out the green and yellow, but don't choose a blue that is similar to a sky blue or a purple that is too pink or the effect will be lost. This is tricky and the contrasting colors are best used as an accent to a dark color or to a color similar to your eye (ex. gold eyeshadow with purple in the crease)

Could i damage my hair by dying it again ?

Lovely Ann

I bought nice n easy foam hair color and bought a color close to my natural hair color just to test it out. I like the way it worked and i want to do a different color now. Im scared if i buy another dye then i will damage my hair , and im also scared that if i mix colors (even a week later ) i will make a crazy color like green lol. What do you think ?

Answer
Ok. First make sure you get a color that will neutralize the original color. If was a brown red and you wanna go lighter make sure you use a green base. Second, everything you do to your hair damages it: combing brushing shampooing curling all damaging. It's just what you do to repair it. When you finish all this deep condition and put moisture back into your hair. Lastly, if your hair is dark and you're staying dark try a rinse or demi perm vs a permanent.

What did the Irish and the Celts really look like?

red hair irish image

Gavin J

I know the stereotype of the red hair, fair skin ,and freckles of the Irish. But, rumor has it that that is from the Scandanavian people who settled into Ireland many years ago. I watched a program that said the native Celtic tribes of Ireland had black hair and grey eyes. My father is 100% from the British Isles and he has black hair and hazel eyes, along with his siblings. Anybody know the phenotype of the Irish or any physical defining qualities?

Answer
As the last poster said, genetically we are not 'celts' (if you accept celts as mid Europeans originating in/around Hallstatt Austria in about 800 bce),though we are culturally celtic. Our closest relatives genetically are the Basques of Spain which just might give you an idea about possible Irish colouring! These people arrived here post-Ice age, about 8000 years ago, and were followed a few thousand years later by farmers from the Near East and some other tribes of the Atlantic seaboard who may have originated in Italy (and ultimately the near east as well.) These folks would probably be dark-haired-they also may be the ones who brought the celtic language.
The fair/red hair may come from Viking invasions, but may also have been in the population anyway (Basque people tend to be fairer than many average Spaniards)-for instance, people said red hair in the Scots comes from Vikings, but it was noted by the Romans long before any vikings entered Scotland!
Of the Irish/Irish descended people I know closely, 7 have blue eyes, 5 very dark brown eyes, 3 hazel green eyes. Hair colour- light brown 1,midbrown-4, dark brown-6, black-2.(some of these are my own family members and we are all dark-the black Irish as they say.)

What percent of the population has red hair?

Q. Just wondering cause i have red hair, but it's like a darkish red.

Answer
Mostly the Irish

What colour clothes should I wear with RED HAIR?

red hair color choices image

MissAussie

I have recently dyed my hair red from darkest brown and found alot of my clothes don't suit anymore :/ what are colours to avoid with red hair and what colors will compliment it? Looking for shirts and dresses mainly. Thankyou.

Answer
Colors to AVOID with red hair are red or reddish-pink tops, as they blend with your hair and look weird. Plum and dark colors need to be avoided as much as possible, too. ESPECIALLY GREEN AND YELLOW! With green, you'll look like an akward Christmas ornament, and with yellow, you'll look like Ronald Mc Donald. GOOD colors to go with your new hair, are pale, pearl, salmon, etc. (Basically, dainty, light shades of pink), baby, sky, and very light shades of blue. Violet or very, very pale shades of purple would look nice as accesories. And if you want to wear jeans, washed, distressed jeans will be a good choice.
BTW, I admire that you dyed your hair a unique color. I love people who aren't afraid to express their individuality.

How can you remove semi-permanent hair dye without changing the natural hair color?

kirilorrai

I need some hair help- fast! My natural hair color is a medium/dark blonde, but I decided to use a semi-permanent(28 day wash out) dark red dye on it. It looked very pretty for the first two or three weeks, but then it took on this dull red-orange color. Since then, the color has stayed the same, and it's been six weeks since I dyed it.
I would like to have my blonde-ness back by wednesday, because school starts back up, and I don't want to go with this odd red-orange mess. I tried one of the crystal clarifying treatments, but it barely changed the color of my hair. Since it takes nearly a year and a half to grow it out, I don't want to use bleach or another dye to make the red go away. I obviously don't have a salon license, so my choice of products is probably limited. I was wondering if there are any products that will take the dye out without changing my natural hair color at all. Thanks.

Answer
The red molecule in hair color is the biggest...Wich makes it difficult to penitrate into the hair shaft but once in, it is the hardest to remove from the hair. It is also the hardest color to maintain looking as vibrant as it does in the begining week or two.
In your question you wrote you did not want to use another color or bleach.....The only way you will be able to get rid of the red will be by covering it up with another color that will counter act the red/orange.....which is going to be a color with a purple, blue, or green undertone.....You should choose a color that is one level lighter than your natural color....I would recommend having it professionally done. Hair color that salons use is much different than store bought color....salon color leaves your hair feeling better than when you walked through the door.....Store color leaves your hair feeling like straw...Plus you will have the expertise of a trained professional to figure out your corrective color......Otherwise, you could end up just creating another mess on your head!!!!

Blue, green, gray, maroon, would look good on you. The ones you chose, could also look good on u but u have to know how to accesorize it with,. Plus the kind of hue or shade of the color matters. for ex. Really bright yellow or orange shirt wouldn't look good on you since ur hair is "red".

How can you change hair color with Photo Shop?

kyren

I have a picture of a friend and I want to know if there is a way to realistically change hair color. I'm not that skilled with Photo Shop, so please be specific!

Answer
Changing the color is not extremely hard - you can use a color balance layer and play with the settings. If the color is too extreme or bright, you can apply a hue/saturation layer and lower the saturation slider. Play with hue/saturation and color balance layers until you have your desired hair color.

The problem is you're going to change the color of the whole image. You have to select the hair first. If the hair is in a bun (like a solid mass), it may be possible to use the extract filter, or if you learn how to use the pen tool (not easy for beginners), you may be able to select the hair.

But in a lot of cases, hair is clashing with the background. The best way I've read to select hair is using alpha channels. Color images have a certain amount of red. blue and green information that you can look at (using the Alpha palette and selecting the individual RGB layers).

Using this method, you would examine the red, blue and green layers in turn and look for the layer that contrasts the most with its surroundings. From there, you can grab that information, adjust the layers to make it stand even more out with its surroundings, and then convert that alpha channel into a selection. As you can tell, it doesn't souund easy for people first learning photoshop and its not.

You would need a good book that explains how to learn how to use the pen tool (for solid hair), and for selecting things using alpha channels. At least you now know what to ask for at the book store or what to look for in a book's table of contents. Good luck!

I tried the Natural Instincts box (semi-permanent) but the results are barelyyy noticeable.
-How can I actually lighten my hair color to medium golden brown without bleaching?
-Should I use the creme box types, or...?
-What brand should I use?

Thanks in advance!

Answer
Semi or Demi will only add red tones or darken, not lighten. You have a couple of options.

1.Bleach (FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO THIS AT A SALON)
2.Find a VERY similar color to your current one, and go TWO shades lighter.(pick the darker of the shades if you can't decide which one) Use a box that says cool, ash or natural tones. No matter what the "warm" colors say you'll end up a redhead. (been there)

Make sure you only go TWO shades lighter maximum. It will make a difference but not your result right away. Re-do it 2 weeks after continuing dying TWO shades lighter from that shade lighter and so on.
Hope I could help :)

What's the best OTC hair color to make my hair light auburn?

Atomic Mam

Right now it's faded-out Natural Instincts Spiced Tea, which had too much "blue" in it to suit me. My original hair color is light- medium brown, but I was a redhead as a baby.

Answer
Blonde and red!

Where can I find info about this antique/vintage plastic doll from the 60s?

Katie d.

It has a sour face like it's mad or ate a lemon.

I'm pretty sure it's from the '50s o '60s.

It has red hair and overalls (I'm pretty sure). Frankly, it looks like it could be Chuckie's non-murdering second cousin.

I don't have pictures & my grandmother always brought it out for Christmas when we were all growing up in the '90s (huh? I know). Any help is so appreciated.

Answer
You need to take it to an antique dealer or an auctioneer or even a pawn shop and someone there should be able to help you identify it. If it is from the 50s or 60s it is definitely not a Cabbage Patch doll.

Does anyone have pictures of themselves after they dyed their hair red?

girl with

I'm a dark brown and I am really interested in going red. I would like to try something different, to show my fiery personality. Natural Irish red not nail polish red.

Does anyone have pictures before when they had brown hair and then after when they had red hair? Bc i'd like to see how it all worked out.

Answer
I have naturally dark brown hair and pale skin, I went red not long ago and everything turned out fine but I'd advice to to get it done professionly as it's a tricky colour but sadly I don't have any photos but yes my worked out okay but when it fades my turned much lighter than my natural colour

Is there any ways to edit anime pictures without dowloading a program?

emy

I want to edit anime pictures, but my computer wont let me download any photo editing programs.
Is there any website that will let me change edit pictures, without having to download anything? Like, just change hair or eye color?

Thanks :]

Answer
hmmm....
Do you have Microsoft Office in your computer?
If you do, then maybe Microsoft Office Picture Manager will help...
XD I use that, at least.

That for sure can fix the red eye thing... and other stuff.

And then after editing the picture on Picture Manager, you could use Paint (comes with many computers) to edit any other things you want to change just for fun! XD

Does this usually happen when you get your eyebrows waxed?

red hair pain sensitivity

Bella Rose

I got my eyebrows waxed for the first time 4 days ago and I have noticed red bumps along the top of my eyebrows. Is this normal? Is it just caused by sensitivity or could I be allergic to something they put on it?
Thank you for your help!

Answer
This is common and could be caused by a few things. It sounds like you're having a mild reaction to waxing.

You can try putting a dab of hydrocortisone cream on the bumps, this might reduce the redness and get rid of any itchiness.

In the future, if you have your eyebrows waxed again, there are a few pre-waxing steps you can take to reduce the chances of getting these red bumps again:

# Exfoliate. LIGHTLY exfoliate skin before waxing, even if itâs just a mild shower gel and washcloth. This helps rid the follicle of oil and debris.

# Apply some heat. By taking a warm, not hot shower or bath, or applying a warm compress right before waxing will open up the skinâs pores and soften the skin, allowing the hair follicles to come out easier. This not only helps with the pain factor, but helping prevent irritation from the wax pulling on the skin.

What are the side effects of taking methotrexate?

Q. And how likely is it that it will damage your liver, and in what way? My doctor went over a few of the symptoms with me, but I'd like to have a better understanding of what I've been putting in my body.

Answer
The following are considered minor or annoying:

Acne; chills and fever; dizziness; flushing; general body discomfort; hair loss; headache; infertility; irregular periods; itching; loss of appetite; lowered resistance to infection; miscarriage; nausea; sensitivity to sunlight; sore throat; speech impairment; stomach pain; swelling of the breast; unusual tiredness; vaginal discharge; vomiting.

However, seek medical attention right away if any of these show up:

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); black or bloody stools; blood in the urine; bone pain; calf pain/swelling; change in amount of urine; chest pain; confusion; dark urine; diarrhea; dry cough; enlarged glands; fatigue; fever or chills; inflammation of the pancreas (stomach tenderness, nausea, vomiting, fever, increased pulse rate); irregular heartbeat; mental changes; mouth sores; muscle weakness; persistent sore throat; red, swollen, or blistered skin; seizures; serious infection (herpes, hepatitis, blood infection); trouble breathing; unusual bleeding or bruising; unusual pain and discoloration of the skin; vision changes; vomit that looks like coffee grounds; yellowing of skin or eyes.

Thing to remember is ALL medicines cause side effects. All side effects listed for any medication are there because they were reported during drug testing or shortly thereafter by Dr. via patient.
Good luck. Very prudent question also, always wise to be concerned what you're putting into your body.

What is so great about MLP, and why did it become a meme?

red hair kid meme

red hair kid meme image

Chase

It's just like any other kids TV show

Answer
You have to watch it to know why it is so good.

If you have seen it, then that is just pretty much your own opinion.

What I personally find great about MLP is many things:

Personally, I asked the same question as you did, I did not understand why. I never watched the show, I actually only saw the title scene and pretty much gave up.
As the spark of popularity increased I decided to watch an episode, and it was good.

What got me into it was a few things, such as plot structure. The plot was amazing as I had expected so much different. There was suspense, humor in the right places, and the story fit perfectly. It also isn't childish at all for the writers and animators of this show were writers and animators of the famous old 90's cartoons (Dexters Lab, Fosters Home ect.)
The voice characterization is quite perfect. The voices really seem to fit the characters so well, that if their voices were to change, it just would not be right. There voices also fit nicely with their personalities.
The animation is quite good, for although it is made with computer, it doesn't use fancy computer effects. Motion blur is not used when dealing with speed. Probably the only time motion blur is seen is when one of the Pegasi are flapping their wings at a high speed. Also, their body flows, like if one of the ponies bounces, their hair also bounces, it just doesn't stay in place. As well, MLP uses the old technique you kind of see in Ren and Stimpy, when if something painful happens, or crazy happens, the background changes to a red color, or a crazy color.
The humor is just right for people who enjoyed growing up with 90's Cartoon Network. There is just classic humor such as when a pony hits something hard, they go flat and stick in that position.
MLP creators listen to their fans as well on this show. As for Derpy Hooves (a popular character among the fan community) was a background pony, with messed up eyes, and the eye error was an animation error, it was not intended. Yet Derpy made it to being a big character after fans boosted her up to popularity.

You do not have to be a fan of the show to be a Brony, you can also enjoy the fan made materials, such as music, comics, comedy, remixes ect.. I personally am more into the fan made material, than the show itself, but I do watch the show on occasion.

MLP has a ton of "meme" moments, parts where when you pause at the exact moment, it fits to put a caption under it. I personally do not make memes, so I do not know how meme makers come across the pictures they do, but they do it, and people enjoy.

If you have not tried the show, go ahead and do it, you MAY change your mind,
If you have seen the show, and don't get it, then the show just isn't for you, and there is nothing wrong with that for I personally dislike shows that my friends love, just because it isn't for me.

Does any one have some time and mind reading this story I wrote?

Madison R

Tell me honestly what you think and to everyone who reads it thanks!!!
Note I'm 13

Also does anyone have any title suggestions? I was thinking The Fruit Loop in a World of Cheerios but idk.

Every single girl at Jacob Creek Middle School wanted to be Hannah Gibson. She was the girl; she had everything a girl could want in a community like Jacob Creek, luscious blonde hair and pool blue eyes, boys chasing her around begging her to even just speak to them. She had gorgeous clothes, her underwear alone cost more than any of our outfits. Jacob Creek was a poor community, many people lived in small one-floor houses, but Hannah Gibsonâs house had three floors, not including her basement, which was carpeted. Hannah had her two best friends, Caroline and Alison, her loyal followers.
I sit next to Hannah in English class; I used to be next to Billy Baker until one day Miss. Cupola decided Iâd be better off without Billyâs distractions, Billy liked me and Miss. Cupola knew that better than any one in the class.
On January 8th Meg and I were making our way from the cafeteria to our next class. I had English and Meg had History. As Meg and I were saying our goodbyes I noticed a girl with fire red hair in our English classroom. My eyes darted to the girl. She looked different from every kid in Jacob Creek. Everyone here had brown hair, or blonde hair. She also wore a yellow pinafore dress, it was scraggly and peasant looking. Suddenly I felt a jab in my side.
âLook at the new girl!â It was Hannah Gibson, talking to me as if this was a daily occurrence.
âYeah.â My response was delayed. I was so much in shock that Hannah was talking to me.
âWonder what planet sheâs from.â Hannah laughed. I laughed too. I wanted Hannah to accept me.
When we had all taken our seats Miss. Cupola cleared her throat and faced the class. She took a deep breath. We all giggled to ourselves, we knew she hated our class; we had the ruddiest most disrespectful boys in our class. Cheryl Ann was the only teachers pet of our class and she still wasnât exactly well-behavied material.
âClass, I have some very exciting news! With us today is a new student. Meme Clearwater from Washington.â
âWhoa do you know the president?â Marvin Markers asked.
âNo Marvin, Washington State.â Miss. Cupola corrected. Suddenly, Meme became boring, useless and a fruit loop in a world of cheerios. Her eyes kept darting to Hannah, Hannah was obviously annoyed, and she hated being stared at.
âThe new girl has no manners!â Hannah whispered to me. I starting laughing.
âMabel, do you have something youâd care to share with the class?â Miss. Cupola asked. I shook my head. âThen would it be okay with you if I started class?â I nodded. Iâd never been talked to like that from a teacher before. But Hannah was laughing so I knew Iâd done something right.
For the next two months, Meme was the target for teasing. I had joined Hannahâs cult and we together made Meme feel awful about herself. We called her Dirty Washington and spread a rumor that said she didnât own a washing machine. We talked about upcoming parties that she obviously wasnât invited to in front of her. We laughed at just about everything she did. But one day, Hannah got sick of the little teases we were pulling. She decided it was time for something bigger.
Every single recess Meme sat alone reading, the plan was that one recess we were going to tell Marvin Marker that Meme had a big crush on him, then make her kiss him and show him her underwear. Hannah had a foolproof plan on what to do but she wouldnât tell any of us, she just told us to go along with everything she said and did. We all did that already.
Marvin was shooting basketball hoops with the other boys; Hannah weaved her way through the game, grabbed Marvin by the collar and brought him to the sidelines.
âHey Marvin, I know some one who has a giant crush on you.â Marvinâs eyes lit up, he obviously thought she was going to say it was herself.
âWho?â He asked eagerly.
âMeme Clearwater.â
âEW. Yuck, thatâs gross, sheâs gross!â Marvin exclaimed in disgust.
âI know, I agree, but just follow me for a sec, okay?â Marvin nodded. Hannah was a goddess to him, if he did what she said, maybe sheâd develop a crush on him. Hannah led Marvin to the bench where Meme sat and read her book every recess. Caroline, Alison and I followed.
âHey Meme, why donât you give your crush a big sloppy kiss!â Hannah announced once weâd reached Meme.
âHuh?â Meme asked confused.
âWe all know you like Marvin Markers, stop pretending you donât and give him a smooch!â
âNo, because I donât like him.â Meme said.
âWhat a baby, canât even admit when she likes a guy!â Hannah exclaimed. Caroline and Alison and I nodded our heads in agreement. All at once Hannah snatched the book from Memeâs hands, she held it over the trashcan next to the bench.
âKiss your crush or elseâ¦â Hannah exclaimed. Meme made a face, got up and kissed Marvin on the head.
âKiss your crush or elseâ¦â Hannah exclaimed. Meme made a face, got up and kissed Marvin on the head. Marvin groaned. He mouthed, âCan I go now?â to us, we shook our heads. Meme was trying to run away but Hannah was too fast, she caught up and grabbed Meme by her neck. Hannah knew Meme didnât have the gut to tell on us.
âNow kiss Marvin for real⦠on the lips or weâll tell him your secret!â I doubted Hannah actually knew a secret about Meme but this statement made Meme so scared that she leaned forward, Hannahâs grasp still on her neck and kissed Marvin Markers, right on the lips. Youâve never heard someone yell âEW!â As loud as Marvin Markers did the day Meme Clearwater kissed him.
âNow we have one more thing for you to do.â Hannah exclaimed. âShow Marvin your underwear.â She said nonchalantly.
âNo!â Meme exclaimed. Hannah tightened her grip. Meme took a big gulp and pulled her dress up a tiny bit. Hannah yanked it the rest of the way until Memeâs underwear was fully exposed.
âMeme you donât have to show the world your underwear!â Hannah yelled. She nodded over in our direction.
âYeah Meme thatâs gross!â I chimed in.
âDear God! I did not need to see that! Youâre breaking a rule Meme no nudity during school!â Louise exclaimed, by now a crowd had gathered around, Meme sheepishly pulled her dress down. Even the recess monitor, Maya had made her way over.
âMeme please report to the office now! I will not tolerate any⦠nudity.â
Meme got suspended for three days.
When Meme came back we spent the rest of March tormenting her. We got her suspended two more times, one time by making her kick mud at Maya and another time we forced her to scream at the top of her lungs during a state wide testing session. We even made Meme cut her mid-back length red hair to an ear-length choppy style.
One day we starting a school project, together with a partner we had to write a story. It was to practice what a story with two authors is like.
Miss. Cupola picked randomly and I was stuck with Meme Clearwater. Meme suggested going to her house.
Memeâs house was at a trailer park. She lived with her Mom and older brother Seth. She explained to me that Seth was at basketball tryouts and her Mom was still at work. Meme made macaroni and cheese for us to eat. I remembered what Hannah had said to me when I told her I was being forced to go to Memeâs house. âDonât eat any food there, itsâ probably contaiminated.â We both laughed.
âUm Iâm not that hungry.â I announced.
âOh.â Meme said.
After Meme had finished her Macaroni we spread out our work on the kitchen table. Within five minutes of getting started we heard a knock on the door. Meme answered it.
âNice place.â A sarcastic voice said. I knew at once that it was Hannah. I fled to the door.
âMabel, good to see you, weâre going to Jillâs Parlor for ice-cream. Come!â Hannah exclaimed.
âOkay. You can finish the work by yourself, right Meme?â
âI donât think so.â Meme said
âUm. Meme that wasnât a question that Mabel asked.â Hannah said. And with that, I left.
Meme missed nearly all of April. On May 2nd Miss. Cupola told us that Memeâs house had burned down, her mother and brother died and Meme was now in a foster home. Hannah, Caroline, Alison and I laughed and joked about how no foster home could possibly want Meme.
On May 7th we went to Jillâs Parlor for ice-cream and saw Meme. She had blood shot eyes and was all alone.
âHey orphan Annie!â Hannah laughed. We laughed with her. âWe heard about what happened to you, so sad. Schoolâs no fun with no one to tease, so how about we make up for all the time we missed right now?â Meme was shaking her head, but Hannah didnât even notice. âSteal Mr. Moo!â She commanded. Mr. Moo was the mannequin cow in the window of Jillâs Parlor. He was just the right size, not to big, not to small to carry out the door. But Meme stay put.
âWhatâs the matter, scared?â Hannah teased.
âScardey Cat!â We chanted.
âIâm not scared, Iâm very brave.â Meme said, this put us into fits of giggles.
âThen prove it.â Hannah said motioning to Mr. Moo. Meme to a deep breath, ran over, snatched Mr. Moo and carried him to the door.
âWhereâs that girl going with Mr. Moo?â Someone exclaimed. Meme didnât hear and she was running out the door and down the street, obviously from us, but it looked so suspicious. The police were called right away; Mr. Moo was older than Jillâs Parlor itself. The police brought Meme home to the foster home. We followed and heard Memeâs foster Mom screaming at her from all the way outside the barbed wire fence. Meme was in for it.
Meme returned back to school May 11th, no one knew why, but we assumed maybe it had something to do with the Mr. Moo incident.
Hannah got a brilliant idea. She brought matches to school one day and an expensive cigarette from France (her dads,) she told us she was going to force Meme to smoke during recess.
Maya would see and it would be something Maya couldnât ignore. We got out to the recess yard. We approached Meme and held out the cigarette and matches.
âSmoke it or weâll tell Marvin you want to kiss him again. Come on smoke it right here, behind this tree, no one will see.â Hannah was lying obviously, she was going to tell Maya.
âNo. I donât want to.â Meme exclaimed
âOh Marvinâ¦â Hannah called. Caroline and Alison were laughing. I wasnât. Hannah shot me a look saying âlaugh-unless-you-wanna-be-out-of-the-group.â
âHannah, you seriously need to stop, itâs dangerous to her health and itâs going to get her in a lot of trouble. Youâve gone way to far this time and itâs not funny.â I said mustering up all the confidence I had, which wasnât much since I was practically brainwashed by Hannah.
âExcuse me?â Hannah said in disbelief.
âYou heard me Hannah. Donât make her do it or Iâm telling Maya you brought cigarettes to school.â
I knew this was a mean way to act, but somehow I think Hannah deserved it.
âYou are so in for it Mabel!â Hannah announced grabbing me by the neck like she had to Meme the day she forced Meme to kiss Marvin. All at once Maya came over.
âHannah! Let go of Mabel this instant! Youâre going to hurt her!â Hannah let go and the cigarette and matches fell to the ground. Hannah was suspended for a week and the last we heard, her father got so mad at her that he sent her to reform school.
Meme and I became great friends. We rode bikes, had sleepovers and read Tiger Beat. We still are great friends to this day. We recently saw Hannah at our high-school reunion. She works at Wall-Mart and is unmarried. Caroline and Alison left Hannah during that summer after the horrible year of making fun of Meme. They both followed the paths they wanted and are nice, lovable women Meme is married and so am I.
We are neighbors and plan on having our three-year old daughters, Brianna and Vivian, become as great friends as we are. It just goes to show you, there is such thing as karma, and no matter what you should always be nice to someone. Be the fruit loop in a world of cheerios.

I'm a black woman that has colored her hair (red) for the first time and in order to save money + maintain the health of my hair I'd like to know what products to use and what other things I can do for my hair.

Answer
Well Bunnie,

You should use Parvanue Salon Shampoo, Aphogee Shampoo for Relaxed and Damaged Hair, Elastqa QP Intense Conditioner, Ultra Black Conditioner, and add a natural oil to your regimine like rosemary oil, keri-oil , or another because they contain protein the only thing that can be absorbed into the shaft. You should also add a multi-vitamin to you diet as well as distance your perm and coloring (try to use temoprary it will allow you to maintain healthy hair and not over process).

Stop blow drying and air dry hair as well as using a curling iron once a week and avoid the week after your perm. Clean hair utensils and products. Also, buy a clarfying shampoo to prevent build up.
