My personal choice, although I like all colors, is dark, and very dark BROWN.
These women seem to have a natural dark eyelash color, that doesn't need makeup.

I think a woman who uses too much makeup is just overkill, and she looks cheap.
Highlighting the lower eyelash, to me, makes the woman look like a vampire. Just
highlight the top lash. Most models you see only do the top eyelash.

But back to the brunettes, they just have that look even without makeup.
Italian women, Spanish and Hispanic women, Indian (from India) Arabic women, to name a few....

He can't articulate. All he can do is stare. If the woman has a nice body and dresses nice on top of that, then he can't decide whether to stay with the hair or take his eyes sight seeing. Well if your eyebrows are thick, start by thinning them out because if they're thick & black, there's not much you can do. After thinning them out, use a red-based matte eyeshadow with an angled brush & softly fill in your brows with the shadow. Then run a clean mascara brush through them to make it look like natural hairs. Or you could use a red tinted eyebrow gel, but they're hard to find.

You can get a shampoo called "Malibu well water action" it will help. don't use it everyday it can be to harsh on the hair. you can get it from a local salon. Also you stylist can do what is called a Malibu gel treatment for $20 or less (in most salons) that will take most or if not all of it out immediately.

I'm 5'4 and weight around 185 pounds, which is obviously overweight. I've been working out 5 days a week and sometimes 6 since January and I play softball and I eat right but I haven't even lost a pound. I also have this huge birthmark my face lip and neck that hangs off my face and looks like a tumor, but its not. I wear make up to cover it up and have had 14 laser treatments but it never goes away. I also have this long nappy red hair and people won't talk to me because I'm a 'soul stealing ginger.' I have a big brown mole on my chin that no docter in my area will take off for me. I have good teeth, but they're lemon yellow despite the fact that I brush my teeth twice a day with Colgate 3d white. I'm 17 and have no friends because I'm ugly and fat, and when I try to make friends, people laugh and make fun of me. I'm 17 and I've never had a boy even look my way unless he wanted to cheat off me in AP chem. Please help me!

Eat VERRY little, do a lot of crunches. Go to the gym and ask for a specific routine for your age and weight. Try to put a little more effort into your clothing and makeup; keep up with the trends.

It is hard to suggest cuts without seeing a face:) I don't know if it would work for you, but I just love an uneven bob, where the hair is longer in the front. This can be longer than a normal bob would be. It is something that can be dressed up or down and you still have length in the right places for many updo's. It is a fun look, but still mature! Should I bleach my hair to get rid of the red?

I had red hair for a month and then I bought brown extensions so I dyed it ash brown to try to get it to match.
All it did was make my hair really dark but it still had a reddish tint to it.
I was thinking I could bleach it (not for long just like 30 minutes) then dye it ash or neutral brown.
I've bleached my hair and then dyed it ash blonde to ombre my hair before and it worked really good.

no u should not bleach ur hair EVEN if its red because my hair was purple and i bleach it to get it out and it KILLED my hair i suggest to go to a salon and ask for there help in what u should do !!! i hoped this helped!!

Liquid dishwasher detergent.. Apply to effected skin, wait 5 minutes, rinse well.. Remember to apply lotion/moisturizer after, the detergent will remove natural skin oils...

In the future when coloring your hair take a few minutes to smooth a thin layer of hair conditioner over your forehead, ears, the back of your neck, etc. It creates a barrier the dye/koolaid has to penetrate before it can begin coloring your skin buying you time to fully apply the coloring product then wipe away the conditioner and any coloring produce that got on your skin with a damp paper towel....

I color my own hair strawberry blonde (a level 7/8, and I am a level 6 or so). I am coloring more often than I'd like in order to hide grays and because the red fades out so fast, usually in 3 -4 weeks. I would like to try adding a semi-permanent reddish color as a boost, but am afraid the double process over my whole head will cause breakage and fry my hair. It's already not in great shape, but my ends just look like a bad bleach job at this point - no red whatsoever (my hair is long). Will ammonia-free hair color still damage my hair? Suggestions? Help!

Now with the hair color the baby gets the genes from both parents so it could be either brown or red hair. You have 50/50 chance. But say your family has all brown hair and his family is scattered with red hair and brunettes. You would mostly likely have the dominant gene. You could also get genes from grandmother or other relative in the family.

I'm was trying to get a goldish-brown hue, and had to use a booster to get my hair to lighten (it doesn't take to color easily). Instead, it came out copper-red with some darker roots. So please, can someone suggest what I can do at home to bring the color down? I'm getting extensions in a week, and must do something now to get a golden-brown hue...

at this point i would not suggest adding more color to your hair especially cause ur roots are darker....red is hard to get rid of..honestly the ony way to fix this once and for all its to go to a salon and get a soap cap done and then dye your hair at the salon of course the color that resembles copper red...a good hairdresser can mix a custom shade for you...just remember color deposits..it does not lift color nor does adding color change color

Try using Schwarzkopf Platinum Blonde Live XXL colour. I use this on my hair and its bleach blonde and will definitely dye over semi dye. With highlighting kits, you don't really get a good variety of colours, and also you don't get much dye in them.

Hahahaa.(: I wouldn't wear black close to your face: choose tops and accessories in natural, earth tones such as dark and olive greens, beiges, browns, golds, camel and even orange reds. Black is OK to wear on skirts and trousers. If you have a black jacket that you like, don't worry: you can always brighten it up with a shawl in the colors mentioned above. Purple, bright red, navy and pink are also on the no-no list and should probably be avoided. There is in fact a whole debate going on between stylists as to whether the clash between red hair and colors such as pink or purple is fashionable or tacky. Pale pink, for example, may suit dark redheads but looks edgy and "loud" on women with a more copper-colored 'do.

In the end, it's a matter of each and every woman's taste - but as an overall piece of advice, avoid such colors unless you're looking to make sure every eye is on you at a party or on an evening out with your friends. If you do want to wear pink, for example, make sure you go for a more intense or darker shade of pink for the bottom half and a lighter shade for your top. Pink accessories are not a good idea. What would the effect of taking melanin supplements have on my red hair?

First off, I have no interest in changing my natural red hair color. I have a shade many people dye their hair to get. Anyway, I learned that red hair is caused a a lack of melanin. I was simply wondering if melanin supplements would change it at all or just darken it?

PABA or para-aminobenzoic acid is a chemical component of pteroylglutamic acid, also known as folic acid. PABA is often used topically to provide protection to the skin from the sun. Expert opinions differ on whether the chemical should be considered a vitamin on its own or if it is just a component of the B-complex family of vitamins. Some herbalists suggest taking PABA supplements to help reverse the redness of the hair process. This recommendation seems to be based on a very small and dated study published in the December 1950 issue of the Journal of Investigative Dermatology in which a researcher noted a change in hair color in approximately 25 percent of the 20 patients he treated with PABA for other conditions. It is important to consult with your doctor before taking PABA supplementation, because PABA is stored by the body and can build to toxic levels if taken in excessive quantities.

How do I keep my red hair from fading so fast?

I've been dying my hair a very red hair color (Loreal Paris Feria, Ruby Red) and it fades in about a week or two and it dries my hair out. How do I prevent it from doing this or at least make it last a little longer?

People have told me to use shampoo and conditioner without sulfate. If that's the case, what would you recommend if you use that?

I love this color and I want to keep it! Thank you!

Its fading due to dryness (which you already know because your hair is dry right now, lol). To prevent this you should use shampoos and conditioners formulated for color treated hair and moisturize it intensely. I can not stress that enough.

MOISTURE MOISTURE MOISTURE.

I suggest Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Shampoo and Conditioner. Also, Tresemme Naturals Moisturizing Shampoo and Condish. The Shampoo contains low sulfates.

I also recommend deep conditioning treatments like Aussie 3 min deeeeeep conditioner and Aussie Moist conditioner. Leave in conditioners help as well.

Also, if you MUST wash your hair every other day and can not avoid it, skip the shampoo and use conditioner instead. This is known as "co-washing". Then at the end of the week use shampoo to get all the gunk out and use conditioner afterwards.

Homemade conditioners are great too. Mix one egg, honey, olive oil(or coconut oil) and mayo. Keep it in for 10-15 mins under a shower cap to allow heat to generate from your scalp. This opens up the cuticles and allow it to penetrate deeper.

And if you want more red without the dryness try Hibiscus Tea/Powder. Hibiscus is known to enhance/create red tones. The tea you can buy at stores. After making it allow it to cool. Pour it over your hair, keep it in for 30 mins to an hour and rinse. As for the powder, add conditioner to it and use it like a mask. Keep it in for as long as you like before rinsing it out. The good thing is, no matter how long you leave it in (unlike hair dye) it wont damage your hair. Leave it in over night if you like and then wash it out the next day.

ok first figure out what kind of audition it is is it dancing, singing, acting??? then find something that you really like to wear and think that you look good in. Do your hair in a bun (if fancy) down ( if more informal) haha i just used a big word.... anyway be yourself and i hope that you have a great time and you get whatever your trying out for....

It depends whether you want it to really stand out or kinda blend in. Yellow and orange colors oils blend in more. However yellow tends to be a tricky color. Now if you want it to stand out then go in the color range of blue to purple. Don't go toward green and avoid teal because that will turn green after a few washes. Brighter shades will also stand out more against darker hair. It depends though whether you want it to stand out or blend in. I can only say to avoid green and yellow because green will make you look like Christmas and yellow can start to look like urine if not properly cared for. You can bleach it to a blonde but I don't know how permanent you were going for.

you can see my other question, im frustrated about my red hair that i dyed a month ago not washing out and the water never running clear, staining everything in sight. Im going to get a haircut today and i want to know if i can dye my hair another color that will stop making the red hair dye bleed out everytime i wash it....maybe brown?

Red dye is very different than any other color. The chemical make up is different. It's the hardest color to keep and also the hardest color to get rid of and cover up. You'll have to strip it if you want it to go away. Possibly dyeing it dark brown but only after the color stops rinsing out. I dye my hair red and have for a little over a year and it always bleeds the first few weeks. Talk to your stylist and see what they recommend. But with red dye, that's what you're going to get. If you really want to keep the red, don't wash it every day, use shampoo's specifically for red hair (Aveda makes a shampoo for warm and red tones that's organic). Don't use any shampoos with sulfate or harsh chemicals-which is a good idea for hair in general.

But like I said, talk to your stylist. Stripping it will cause damage, but dyeing over it may cause a mess because of the weird chemicals in the red dye,

I have dark strawberry blonde hair and I really hate it, so I dye my hair red. The red colour molecule fades most quickly because it is the shortest/weakest wavelength of colour. If you use a commercial cemical dye, the red will be too bright, will look ridiculous, and will be monochromatic with little shine after a week. It will look really fake and not beautiful, and as it fades, it will turn a rancid shade of brassy orange or even pink. Alternatively, you can use henna. Henna is extremely good for your hair. Whereas chemical dyes fade in a few weeks, Henna can last for about 3-4 months, depending on how fast your roots start showing too much. I used to use chemicals, but now I use henna. What IS henna? It's a plant that when mixed with lemon juice and left for 12 hours in a warm place (on top of fridge) activates and is ready to put on hair and skin. To use it on your hair, brush it out and section it. Put vaseline on the parts of your skin and ears closest to hairline. Pull and squeeze the Henna paste through the sections of hair, then, when all is coated, pile it on top of your head and wrap plastic wrap around your head. Leave on for 4-6 hours or overnight. The longer you leave it, the darker it will be. When you go to rinse out, rinse all the paste out and then use a bottle of conditioner to soften the rest out of the hair. Do not shampoo, it ruins the results. Shampoo two days after doing hair. The colour is very bright at first, but as the dye molecule oxidizes, it darkens the hair.
