What color should ask for at the hair salon?

At the end of the summer, My mom promised me she would take me to the hair salon and the nail salon. I have auburn hair already but i want the color and style as Ashlee Simpson's new red hair. What color should I ask for? Also at the nail salon i want acrylics but a cool color not like a french manicure really, so what should i ask for?

Answer
for your hair color, i would definitely bring a picture of what you want. its alot easier for your stylist to see what you want than listen to you describe it. for your nails i would go with either a light, almost sheer pink ( it will look nice if you got a nice summer tan), or you can go with a fall color like deep red, or burgundy.

What do you think about tan skin and red hair?

Samantha

I'm thinking of dying my hair a dark red or medium red but my skin color is sort of tan (see icon) would a red color look good on me?
Pictures of tan girls with red hair would help alot too.

Answer
you could get away with alot with your colouring, i'm a natural dark blonde/hazel eyes used to dye very vibrant dark red, sometimes even plum/purple-red, always looked much better with a spray tan ,personally I say go for it you'll look hot. Anything from a hot deep red right thru to deep plum as long as its not too orangey check out these.

I have redish/orangish hair (which i hate) with freckles and fair skin....what color should i get in highlights/lowlights?

Answer
I highly reccommend getting highlights and/or lowlights that are two shades lighter than your natural hair color. Remember, you want to enhance your natural color, not stripe it. Also, in the winter go two shades darker for your highlights/lowlights.

What semi permanent, least damaging hair dye would you suggest?

Survivorof

I'm a 16 year old guy trying to get a new look. I have very light, slightly pinkish skin. I currently have just my natural hair color, light, mediumish brown, with lots of natural highlights and lowlights. I have bluish greenish greyish eyes, depending on the lighting. I'm looking to get just a natural looking red tinge to my current hair colour. Can you help?

Answer
I will forever us Aveda. They have the lowest amount of ammonia and give amazing color. I just dyed my hair with it two days ago, it did no damage and if anything made my hair silkier. You can go to the Aveda store and they can do it for you, or you can buy it there and do it at home. I suggest having them do it because they dye hair all the time. Then for shampoo after you dye it i would get the Aveda color conserve shampoo and conditioner .

Good luck with the hair dye!

uhm this may be a weird question.
but how would i be able to make my hair lighter without using hair dye?
my hair was originally black , and then i dyed it red myself with red hair dye 3 times.
now my hair is fading back to black . how do i make it lighter without dye !!

any helpful answers?
xoxo thannkss <3 .

Answer
Whatever you do, don't use any lightening sprays such as Sun In. They will turn your hair an array of freaky shades.

This merthod usually works to lighten hair:
Step one: Squeeze some fresh lemon juice into a bowl.
Step two: Distribute the juice generously through your hair.
Step three: Spend some time in the sun so that the lemon can go to work (use a sunscreen for your skin!)

You'll need to repeat this over the course of a couple of weeks, because of your dark hair color.
Good luck!

So I have bright red hair, yet my eyebrows are dark, dark brown. I want to lighten them but I don't want to bleach, dye, or use makeup on them. I've heard hydrogen peroxide works..? How should I use it? What steps should I tKe? Etc.

Answer
I like my dark eyebrows so I have never done it. And it does sound like you could hurt your eyes if you are not careful. But if you want to, here a few others have asked this question.

bUNNie

I'm a black woman that has colored her hair (red) for the first time and in order to save money + maintain the health of my hair I'd like to know what products to use and what other things I can do for my hair.

Answer
Well Bunnie,

You should use Parvanue Salon Shampoo, Aphogee Shampoo for Relaxed and Damaged Hair, Elastqa QP Intense Conditioner, Ultra Black Conditioner, and add a natural oil to your regimine like rosemary oil, keri-oil , or another because they contain protein the only thing that can be absorbed into the shaft. You should also add a multi-vitamin to you diet as well as distance your perm and coloring (try to use temoprary it will allow you to maintain healthy hair and not over process).

Stop blow drying and air dry hair as well as using a curling iron once a week and avoid the week after your perm. Clean hair utensils and products. Also, buy a clarfying shampoo to prevent build up.

What makeup should i wear red hair and hazel eyes?

Q. I have hazel eyes and dyed red hair its a medium aubern color, and I really need a makeup style. All my sisters have red hair and blue eyes, so I can't really ask them for help.

Answer
Eyeliner
The most essential constituent of a makeup kit for any woman is an eyeliner or an eye pencil. The hazel eye color gives a wide range of color choices as far as the eyeliners go.

Brown color is the safest bet and also a classic option that women can opt for doing up their eyes. This is especially true for makeup for hazel eyes and red hair because red color is a soft color shade. Anything dark like black or dark gray colors will give you a dramatic eye makeup.

Although when to use liquid eyeliner and an eye pencil is different for different types of eyes e.g. close set or deep set, etc. another makeup tip is that women with hazel eyes have the freedom to use either. Only criteria is to use colors that suits the occasion, dramatic or simple.

Eyeshadow
The basic and important function of an eyeshadow is to conceal the dark circles under eyes as well as define the shape of the eyes. Since here we are concerned with makeup for hazel eyes, emphasis is on the eye only. Mauve, lighter shades of purple and brown, pearl, peach, beige or light pink colors suits the hazel eye the best. In short choose more translucent colors while going in for makeup for hazel eyes.

Light green, lilac and tones of plum can also be experimented with. These are safe colors too. The darker shades of these can be used for the night or evening time parties or get-togethers. Another tip for daytime usage is to opt for light blue or faint gray color eyeshadow. This will give you almost a no-makeup look.

Mascara
Mascara opens up your eyes by working upon the eyelashes. Though the basic criteria for choosing the right mascara depends on the eyelash type more than the color of the eyes, the criteria for selection of the color remains the same, i.e., it should suit your complexion, eye and hair color as well. So the classic black is the color to go for if you are selecting makeup for hazel eyes and black hair.

Hazel eyes tend to look little drowsy as compared to other eye colors. That is also the reason why it looks milder too. So mascara is one of the most essential cosmetics for these doe eyed beauties. Depending on the hair color again, they can try colors ranging from light brown, dark brown, black, the glossy wet look mascara too! This is the one of the biggest advantages of hazel eyes, they can experiment and use almost any kind of eye makeup. The wet look mascara is sure to look amazing on hazel eyes.

So these were the tips of makeup for hazel eyes. Go on and enjoy looking gorgeous now that you are equipped with this information. But the last makeup tip I would like to give is to stay natural and take care of the eyes.

p.s:dont wear a red blush with red hair! instead use a pale pink blush and either a light pink or nude lip color

Answer
Just dye your hair with henna. It doesn't have to be red. I use brown henna in my hair and my natural colour is also brown. You can buy it cheap on Ebay and it's better and longer lasting than commercial dye.

And no hairspray will not effect your ability to have children.

I have tiny skin colored bumps on my face and arms?

Angela

I have tiny little skin colored bumps on my cheeks and upper arms. I'm in 7th grade and its really embarrassing when people point them out. I've had them for about two years now and they're not acne. When I scratch them just white hard stuff comes out, but its not puss. I clean my face regurally but they don't go away. Do I need to moisturizer? I don't even know what they're called. Please help. I'm tired of these stupid things. 10 points to the best answer.

Answer
HELP HAS ARRIVED!!!!!!!!!!!

I had this for years, my mom told me it was eczema. Most people say eczema is a name used for tons of different dry skin conditions that doctors canât diagnose. I used eczema creams all through Jr. High and High School, all that did was make me feel greasy and uncomfortable with zero results.

You probably have what is called Keratosis pilaris, Keratosis pilaris is a common, genetic follicular condition that causes the appearance of rough bumps on the skin. It most often appears on arms, thighs, hands, legs, sides, buttocks, or face (which on the face are often mistaken for acne). Worldwide, Keratosis pilaris affects an estimated 40% of the adult population and approximately 50%-80% of all adolescents. It is more common in women than in men. There are several different types of Keratosis Pilaris, including Keratosis Pilaris rubra (red, inflamed bumps), Keratosis Pilaris Alba (rough, bumpy skin with no irritation), Keratosis Pilaris Rubra Faceii (reddish rash on the cheeks), and related disorders.

Keratosis Pilaris is caused by Hyperkeratosis: when the human body produces excess keratin, a natural protein in the skin. The excess keratin, which is cream colored, surrounds and entraps the hair follicles in the pore, resulting in rough clogged pores. The openings are often closed with a white plug of encrusted sebum, the oily, waxy substance produced by glands in the skin to keep it from drying out. Hyperkeratosis is most likely caused by your body having a vitamin A & E deficiency.

I started taking vitamin A & E pills at dinner every night and 90% of my white bumps on my cheeks, arms, and legs cleared up. My boss also had white bumps on her arms and tried taking the vitamins too, it worked nicely for her. You could try taking the vitamins, but if you stop taking them, your body will go back to being deficient in them unless you start eating more foods naturally containing vitamins A & E:

Vitamin A: Liver, Red Pepper, Cayenne, Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, Dried Apricots, Cantaloupe, Spinach, Squash, Dried Herbs, Papaya, Mangoes, Green Peas, Tomatoes.

Vitamin E: Sunflower Seeds, Almonds, Pine Nuts, Peanuts, Dried Apricots, Pickled Green Olives, Cooked Taro Root, Wheat Germ/Flax Seed/Corn/Canola/Soybean Oils, Hazelnuts, Broccoli.

Both A & E: Paprika, Red Chili Peppers or Powder, Spinach

If the bumps (clogged dry rough crusty pores) have a red or pink ring around them, it could just be that they are inflamed, or it could be some sort of skin infection, such as yeast, which lives on the skin naturally but could become an infection, or bacterial. If they are a little pink or red I would try an antibacterial soap.

Antibacterial soaps are full of chemicals and poisons, some are so harmful they cause muscle weakness, such as in the heart and tongue, and should not be in stores. A natural alternative is a soap or lotion containing Tea Tree oil. Tea Tree oil has natural antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiseptic qualities. It also has beneficial cosmetic properties. Tea Tree oil has a faint medicinal scent to it like eucalyptus, which is why I would suggest a soap instead of a lotion. Products containing Tea Tree oil can be found in abundance at health and natural and heath stores, but is also available in main stream store such as Wal-Mart for as low as around $3.

So in short, vitamin A, vitamin E, soap, and you should be good (: I wish you luck

How do you get rid of green algae in a salt water aquarium?

red hair algae
on ... algae tank tank algae afa blue green algae green hair algae marine
red hair algae image

Mary M

I have a 65 gallon salt water aquarium that keeps getting that awful green algae on the rocks & bottom of the tank. I have cut down the time that the light is on, bought more snails & that still hasn't helped.

Answer
Add natural algae eating critters. Various forms of green, brown and red algae can provide browsing food for many types fish and inverts, and many macroalgae species are actually cultivated in the aquarium for this purpose. There are a lot of marine inhabitants that depend on algae as a major part of their diets. Tangs and Surgeonfishes of the Zebrasoma & Ctenochaetus species, and most Angelfishes are prime examples.
If your fish friends can't keep up with the algae growth, you can periodically harvest it to keep it in check without completely eradicating it from your system. Introducing additional herbivores like Snails and Hermit Crabs, as well as detritivores like Starfishes, Cucumbers and Marine Worms are all greatly beneficial. Just be sure to get the correct types that will eat the kind of algae you are dealing with.
Grow some competitive macroalgae. In Robert Fenner's (author of The Conscientious Marine Aquarist) WetWebMedia Green Algae-The Chlorophyta article he discusses both good and pest types of macroalgae. Under the Benefits - Algae Control section he points out that by growing an initial batch of algae, this in turn can "limit" the growth of unwanted pests types like slime, hair, fungus and bacteria forms. Because all algae compete for the same light, nutrients and space that is available in an aquarium, the growth of a good type of competitive macroalgae deprives the pest types of these elements to grow aggressively.

How do I get the green tint after using color out of hair?

Smile!

My mom is a cosmetologist and she didn't like that her brunette color had a red tint to it - so she used an ash to get it out. Now it has a very green tint to it.
What can she do to get it out? She doesn't want red in it either.
If she used color-remover would that help?
Or what can she do?
Thanks!

Answer
she'll have to get a color correction ~she stripped all the color out& the algae from the water is what turned it green~ tell her to leave it for awhile if possible~like wearing hats or scarfs â¦

How would I describe this hair color to my stylist?

Q. http://www.nicole-fan.org/visuals/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pos=490
I want to color my hair like Nicole Richie's hair color in this picture. How would I tell my stylist to do it? Does anyone know the colors I should ask for? I intend to bring the picture along with me, but I still want to be able to describe exactly what I want, especially because the printed picture looks a little different than what it does on the computer screen. Any colorists/hairstylists out there who could help me? I would appreciate any advice!! Thank you!!

Answer
I can tell you her natural level of color is a 4 or dark brown..They have gone in with foils and used about 3 different colors..From the photo they have used bleach for the lightest highlight, a highlift tint, and a red blonde in the 8 level, which is a medium blonde. Take the photo to your stylists or someone who knows color and have them hold swatches to your photo.....I can only guess from the photo..

What hair color is this and how do I achieve it?

http://www.specktra.net/t/168008/should-i-go-for-a-reddish-brown-hair-color -- more of the Lindsay Lohan or Audrina Patridge hair color on that site. Thanks in advance!

Also, if I have bleached hair now, how would I go about dying it that color? Would I just dye it, or is it more complicated then that?

Answer
If you want it perfect as in the photo then I would recommend to go to a salon.

But you can easily go into a beauty store within the picture, and ask they should be within knowledge of the products there.
Red is a popular product nowadays so I would say go in the days that they are stocked.
Sally's Beauty Store has an awesome red collection that is meant for dark hair.

i got the tips of my hair dyed red on thursday, after the dye was on the person washed it. Its been 3 days now and im scared if i wash my hair it will fade away. also i put a little bit of water on it to see what would happen and the water was a little bit red. please help me i dont know what to do and i dont want the colour to fade away.

Answer
Unless you're using too many hair products, there's NO NEED to wash your hair EVERYDAY.

I don't! If your hair is curly/wavy, just spray with water, & scrunch and you're good to go!

Red hair dyes are the fastest hair dye to fade.

Sun can fade color-treated hair (invest on a good wide brim hat), chlorine is blue, blonde is yellow, chlorine coats the hair, leaving it green, wear a bathing cap and rinsing your hair right after swimming. Hair products are killers on colored hair deep conditioning the hair once a week to retain moisture. But avoid products with keratin because that can actually harm the hair color. Volumizing products and clarifying shampoos can be too cleansing and can strip the hair of color. Brazilian and Japanese relaxers also limit what you can do with color because they really change the condition of your hair. Don't use Head and Shoulders, Pantene or Suave because of the build-up they can leave and the color-stripping they can do. - InStyle
Myth 9: Summer sun makes your color fade quickly.
True: âBut itâs not just summer sunâno matter what the season, sun can fade your color,â says Dorram-Krause. Harmful UV rays any time of the year can make color fade and can also dehydrate hair. Use a product that contains UV protectors to guard and moisturize your hair every day. If youâre outside for a long time with the sun beating down wear a hat to provide extra protection.

Where in Central Iowa can I get my hair dyed?

Dani

I want to get my hair professionally done. Right now it is about three different colors. Here's the story: I dyed my hair black for a school dance, then I dyed it "blonde" (ended up brown). Then I told a lady at Sally's that I wanted my hair to be a light brown/ dark blonde and she told me to make my hair a dark blonde that I would need to bleach it. So, I tried bleaching it. And it's about three colors right now. A dark brown, my roots are my natural color (a grey/brown/black), and then I have some random blonde streaks. (I'm 16, and my parents are okay with me coloring my hair)
I want my hair to be a dirty blonde-ish color. And I want Mahogany, dark red, auburn low-lights.
I want to go to a salon around Ames, Iowa. I don't want to have to travel too far to get my hair done. I also don't have tons of money, so I would prefer if it would be under $100. Any good suggestions?

On a totally different hand, I am also looking for somewhere I can go to spray tan. I used to tan really well in the summer, but I don't get as tan anymore. I don't want it to look fake, I want it to look natural, and real. It would also only be a back-up plan for if I don't get as tan as I want to.

Thank you so much!

Hi i need som help i want to get the red hair dye out of my hair so i can colour it an ash blond color cause i have damaged my hair little bit to much so i want to slowly process my hair to blonde again , ps i have used red hair dye from live xxl color

Answer
You should get a product called "Color Oops". You can get it at Ulta and even some grocery stores. It removes dye in 20 minutes and you can even dye your hair again the same day! It's only like $12. For the damage part- try to get some shampoo and conditioner for colored hair because it prevents damage.

Is it okay to use a red color rinse on my highlighted blonde hair?

Amy

Naturally, I have like medium brown hair. It's dark in the back but in the summer it gets blonder. I've been doing partial highlights for a few years now, where I get the basically everything but the lowest layer of my hair and the very back where no one sees it highlighted light blonde. It looks really good and I like it, but I have ALWAYS wanted to be a red head. I want to try it this summer with a red color hair rinse because I've been considering dying it permanently, but I don't want it to look weird with my highlights or make them look really bad if I decide I don't like my hair red. Please please help! Thanks guys. If it turns out nicely I'll be sure to add a photo

Answer
I have the exact same hair and i dyed my hair with that red and it looked absolutly HORRIBLE! I love red hair and i wish i had it but when i dyed it, it turned really blotchy orange and as it faded it turned pink. I highly suggest not dying it

Okay so I'm 14 and I have pretty bad acne for my age. I went on minocycline and it started clearing me up but it made me lose vision for about an hour and one night I was so dizzy I couldn't even stand up so I stopped using it. It worked really good so I was pretty mad. I leave for a 2 week vacation Sunday so I'm kinda stressed because I'm barley packed and stuff. Most of my big zits are gone from the minocycline but they left bad red marks that like peel and my whole face is like bumpy from annoying clogged pores and blackheads. I have a couple under the skin pimples and actual pimples but not that bad. Right now I'm using Oxy maximum strength face wash by itself and sometimes I use the proactiv refining mask. I'm thinking about adding step 2 and 3 from proactive to my skincare since the facewash is just a stronger one of proactivs pretty much because proavtiv wasn't strong enough. Don't tell me to go on accutane because first of all its so bad for you and second of all my mom wont pay for it. Don't tell me to try natural stuff either because I've used all natural products, the ocm, the caveman, the water only regimen, and I've done just the gentle face wash thing. Nothing worked. Proactiv worked for me for a while but it doesn't work now that I tried other stuff that made my skin worse. I can't use olive oil on my skin at all. No mater what kind of olive oil. It breaks me out so bad. I think I need to use a scrub since I have clogged pores but my mom wont buy me one and baking soda makes my skin worse. I can't use olive oil but what if I do like salt and honey or sugar and honey? I don't have lemon juice. What else can I do? How do I get rid rid of the red marks? I'm really pale so they show up a lot. I havn't been in the sun so I think I'm low on vitamin D so maybe when I go on my vaca it will clear up a little and the tan will help hide the red marks?
My mom wont buy any more skincare products for me. I'm going to have my sister take me to target and drop me off to shop for skincare stuff in a few months when she can drive but I need something that works now...
I can't get cocoanut oil... well at least until my sister can drive me to buy it in a few months.

Answer
Melody posted this recently about Coconut Oil.

I recommend You moisturize your skin with organic unrefined extra virgin coconut oil. I know you might be like, is she crazy telling me to put OIL on my face? NO i am not crazy:) All of my Friends use coconut oil for their body, hair, health and skin. And their skin and mine is very healthy. Coconut oil even helped one of my Friends who suffered acne for about 1 year. She started using coconut oil everyday as a moisturizer, and now she has clear skin! She still had to use a cleanser, and eat healthy and stuff. But COCONUT oil helps the body, skin and hair in SO many ways!

I found out coconut oil is a very effective way to treat acne. I use the organic USDA, unrefined, and extra virgin coconut oil. And it smells sooo good!!! It does not clog pores, well it does not to me. It give you a natural glow, cure redness, acne, acne scar, dryness, wrinkle, fine lines, oiliness, and any skin condition like rash! It 10 times as better than other acne treatments! Coconut oil is a very great natural way to cure acne. Use it as your facial moisturizer.

Oh and I TAKE TURMERIC PILLS EVERYDAY. ONCE A DAY AND IT HELPS TO FIGHT FREE RADICIALs THAT AGE OUR SKIN AND BODY. It HELPS TO MAKE MY SKIN GLOW, AND HELPS TO KEEP MY IMMUNE SYSTEM good and ACNE at bay. You will see result in about 1 month or 2. It is a VERY natural way to get rid of acne. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks Melody......Phred

Why do europeans have so much more genetic diversity than all of the other continents?

ihaveissue

Europeans can have blond, brown, auburn, chestnut, and red hair. They can have blue, green, hazel, and light brown eyes. However generaly speaking, Asians and Africans all have black hair and very dark brown eyes? Why do europeans have so much diversity and not the other people?

Answer
They inhabited the greatest number of northern territories where colors other than brown or dark were necessary for survival (vitamin D production!)

What is the right hair color for my skin tone?

Notoriousy

I am looking to finding the right hair color that will complement, not match, my skinâs undertones.

In General
My skin tone: I dont burn but tan decently easy. I am pale though but with some olive in my skin tone. So I think im cool.
My natural hair color is: medium brown but currently is a unknown mix of random colors.
Eyes: hazel: Deep blue, Dark green, spec of golden brown (considered to be warm)

How do I really nail down my skin type and find the right hair color to revive my complexion? Is my coloring light or medium to deep? I want to be a red head if possible? Can someone help me figure out what color would make my complexion glow and skin will look healthier than ever before?A flattering hair shade to brighten up my features and give you a dose of instant glamour.

Wednesday my friend is dying my hair (shes almost done with beauty school) and extensions.
Nothing that will make me look too pale, yellow, swallow, drained, washed out or dull please. And please be specific and descripitive as to what you suggest so i no what to tell my friend.

What you mean by summer blonde? their are so many shades of blonde. I need people to answer me who no what they taking bout and now bout undertones and hair coloring. thanks

I want red hair for concerts coming up and I was wondering if I could add red to my hair if it would actually take? My hair is kind of like this color http://www.vpfashion.co.uk/M_C/30.jpg kinnndd of.

Answer
The color probably won't be as red as you'd like it. Most likely the red will show up much better in the sun. What type of hair color are you using? Semi-Perm/Perm or Temporary? If you want more hair color information go to http://www.curlyhairsalon.com/hair-color.html

I bleached my hair a few days ago to blonde and it's an orangeish color and it's a tad brassy. I have a red hair color that I'm willing to put on my hair but I don't want it to be TOO bright. I have 20 and 40 developer and keep in mind my hair is NOT fully a blonde color. It has a bit of an orange/goldish tint. Which would be best?

Answer
If you are going darker or staying the same level you use 10 volume.
If you are going up to 2 levels lighter you use 20 volume.
If you are going 3 levels lighter you use 30 volume.
If you are going 4 levels lighter you use 40 volume.

Keep in mind 30 and 40 volume developer are very strong and harsh on your hair and scalp. For some people it will actually give you a chemical burn on your scalp. Most manufacturers recommend these not be used for on the scalp application.

Teens: What would you like your wedding to be like?

red hair color trends 2013 image

I'm just really curious as to what other people are envisioning out there...Plus, you know, it's fun to dream about this stuff while you're young.

Me, I want to get married at this old mansion near where I live. It's kind of a cultural museum now and really, really cool. They have this amazing ballroom where I would like to hold the ceremony and reception and downstairs there's a large dining room where I would hold the cocktail hour and dinner. I would like to hold the wedding on New Years Eve too; obviously we would watch the ball drop and stuff, which might be neat. The ballroom would be decorated with lots of candles, a string quartet would play while I walk down the aisle and both of my parents would escort me. My dress would be glamorous, sophisticated and hopefully very retro, kind of like vintage Hollywood. I'm thinking it will be a mermaid-style, but a tea length dress sounds nice as well; whatever it is, there will be lace and I want to wear a headband, not a veil. My bouquet would be completely made of red roses and the color of the actual dress will be white or ivory.

I'd like for the bridesmaids to be in red and, if my fiancé likes, the groomsmen would have matching ties, if only to give the wedding party a cohesive look. Each bridesmaid would also be carrying a single red rose and the flower girl would scatter red rose petals. The food would obviously be decided later, but I'm thinking I'd like to have my aunt and uncle (they own a food truck) cater regardless of what is served. There will be not just a cake but a whole dessert BAR, a beloved tradition on my mom's side, haha. A DJ would play at the reception so that people can request songs; I've been to a few weddings and its hard to really dance at all to live bands, however cool they are.

Wow...I didn't even know that I had that much planned, haha. Uhm...Alright, what about you guys?

Answer
For my fantasy wedding, I envisioned something during the wintertime, as it is my favorite season of the year. It would be a small wedding, only about 75-100 guests or so, and the theme would be centered around orchids. They would be everywhere: as a nice hairpiece (my hair would be in curls or a nice bun), in my bouquet, and in my wedding cake. My dress would be a nice mermaid gown and my bridesmaids would have different dresses, in the same color scheme of course! The same colors would be used for the decorations, as well as my fiance's tuxedo. I also have envisioned my wedding cake to follow wedding cake trends for the season: for 2013, it was all about lace detailing, vintage designs, and florals. These themes are simple, classic, and visually stunning. Thank goodness florals are in, because they (sugar orchids) are going to be all over the cake! The ceremony would be held in a small church and then the reception would be held in a nice hotel or something of the like; nothing to extravagant! I have a budget to follow!

Answer
Cute color, but go get a auburn hair color, and while it fades it will be more and more that color. But try to get the red out first with color remover because you cant put color on color so it wont do a thing.

What Happens if i dye my hair red over bleached highlights?

red hair color blonde highlights

princess09

i have bleached blonde highlights in my hair only in the front im planning on dying my hair like a Burgundy red my natural hair color is an off black so what will happen if i dye it some people said it will turn colors some say my hair will fall out its been a month and about two weeks since i got my highlights also i would only like answers from people who have a license or have expercienced with this

Answer
Your hair will not fall out. Your highlights will be redder than the rest of your hair.

What happens when you highlight dyed dark red hair? If there is bleached blonde under that red?

Q. What Colour highlights I will have on dyed dark red hair( with semi Schwarzkopf Country ) if underneath I have bleached blonde.
If i use Loreal highlight box will i get to that bleach blonde what I have underneath? Will I have clean blonde highlights or i'll need to tone them with- ash toner , silver conditioner to tone orange? pink? tone highlights?

Answer
Try using Schwarzkopf Platinum Blonde Live XXL colour. I use this on my hair and its bleach blonde and will definitely dye over semi dye. With highlighting kits, you don't really get a good variety of colours, and also you don't get much dye in them.
