I dyed my hair brown 6-7 months ago and now I want to dye it red?

About two years ago I started dyeing my hair brown from my natural hair colour which is blonde and now I want to dye in mahogany red I think my hair is back to it's natural colour almost even though it's still brown (light brown from dark brown) because my mums hair is light brown. So I just wanna know I can't dye it mahogany red or will it go Ginger or something? BTW it's a self dyeing kit!!!!!x

Hair dye ALWAYS fades. Yes you can dye it, it wont completely ruin your hair, but i suggest using Garnier brand hair dye(no ammonia) I've done the same. But if you want the color to stay longer you'd need to use a shampoo and conditioner combo to coincide with it.
