I have fairly light red hair with some orange dyed at the tips (ombre but it's faded now) I want to do the same but with a temporary lavender I got from Sally's. The brand is Ion. I really don't want to bleach my hair, but I know that yellow is the opposite of purple which means my orange hair could turn brown with the dye. Anyone have experience with this? Do you think it will work out?

How do i redo the red splat without re bleaching it?

I have dyed my hair red with splat hair dye (I know its really bad for my hair) but now my dark brown roots r coming thro and the reds fading . So to redo it again do I have to really bleach? If so what is the easiest way since the roots r dark but tips r still light red? ¿ ?

Overlapping dye onto previously colored hair is what creates dullness and dryness. If you color your hair @ home or salon, let your roots grow out as long as you can stand, so the line of demarcation is easier to spot. Only run color through the lengths for five minutes to refresh the ends. To extend the time between touch-ups, use a gloss and deep -conditioning treatments.
