Judaism practices?

Org O

Is stewardship a knowned practice of Judaism? As in being responsible and take action to protect the animals, natural resources, and the overall nature, or society as a whole.

Answer
Yes
It is Tza'ar Ba'alei.Or compassion to animals. But Tza'ar Ba'alei means "the pain of creatures" in hebrew. There are a few things that should be remembered. While Judaism affirms our obligation to treat animals with compassion, its also insists on the unique value of human beings. When supporting animal rights groups, one must be cautious to ensure that they do not equate human life with animal life. Sheriah Gaon, a tehth century leader of the jews of babylonia, instructa us that "animals that do us no harm and are not needed for food or medicene should not be killed". While Judaism recognizes the right of humanity to use animalswhen nessassary for the preservation of human life, cosmetics hardly rise to that level of significnace.

Here is what we do to furfil this mitzvah, commamndment

-Buy products that speciffically state that they have not been tested on animals.
-Write to ASPCA for a list of cruelty-free products
-Don't support the fur industry
-Refuse to buy and to accept ivory products. Because they come from African Elephant tusks
-Reduce the number of leather products you use
-When choosing a pet, go to the local pound.
-Neuter your pets. Because a fertile dog and its pups can give birth to 4372 dogs in 7 years and they will end up to be put to death.
-Do not alter an animal's apperance because you think it makes the animal look better. For example giving it new hair die. Or like nicole ritchie and giving your dog hair extensions. But grooming like cutting nails or teeth doesn't fall in this category
-Limit the number of animals used in scientific experiments and research
-Prevent hunting for sport
-Don't attend circuses or rodeos THAT ABUSE ANIMALS. This doesn't mean dont go at all. But research it before going and look at their history. If they have a habit of having an abusive history then don't go just go to a zoo or something.
-By far the greatest single way in which we can cause the pain or death of animals is in the thoughtless consumption of them. This doesn't mean become vegitarian but like i meantioned with circuses, research the brand or even the meat. If you see there is a spike in the number of abuse to cow then dont eat beef.(as my family is doing for now). Like loco ovo which takes out red meat, fish and something else(i forgot). Or like my family become a pesco vegitarian and leave out red meat.

Is one considered "less" Jewish in Israel if they have blonde or red hair?

Also are European Ashkenazi Jews discriminated against in Israel for looking less middle eastern since they originally came from the middle east they must've been tanner and stuff.

So on this basis are they looked down upon in Israel.

Answer
Nobody is discriminated against in Israel...
Since Judaism is a religion, not a race, looks do not play an important role. After all, Jews come in all colors (literally).
