What are some things you can get scholarships for?

So i'm a junior in highschool and my teacher told us today that you can get scholarships for weird stuff like writing with your left hand, having red hair, or blue eyes. What other things can you get scholarships for? just wondering.

There is a scholarship for you go to prom wearing duct tape. That is my personal favorite.

Here is a list:
-1,000 dollars for being over 6'2
-Potato scholarship. If you are going into the potato growing field of work you are eligible for a scholarship.
-There is scholarship that can be earned for winning a national game of marbles.
-There is a scholarship that may be earned for reading an essay about sprinklers and answers questions about it.

Those are just a few of the wacky ones. And of course you can always get them for academics.

Thinking about going to college but have some questions on financial aid / scholarships etc?

Okay, Im thinking about going to school for a Associates degree. Not sure what Im going in for yet though. Anyways I just moved from Ohio, to Miami. I been here since June, and I was wondering are their any possible ways to get any aid help? Like, are their special scholarships/opportunities for having red hair or so on. Or just basic help. Does anyone know any websites or anything that would give out that kind of information. Thanks

Any public library can give you a copy of the "college blue book" and it has thousands of oddball scholarships.
