According to any principles with regards to Darwinism, Genetics, or whatever principle governs that sort of thing, do all people with red hair hail from the same part of the world or were they in lots of different parts of the world, and when did this hair color first appear in history and where?
Answer
Red hair is a mutation that can occur anywhere, but has occurred more frequently in some geographic areas. Since most of history is now forgotten and was before writing developed, we can't be sure where it first showed up. Since it is a more prevalent mutation in those with light colored skin, it probably first showed up in Europeans with lighter skin, but no way to tell. Some people think of mutations as either helpful or harmful, but some are neither, they just make you different. Following is information from wikipedia:
Approximately 1% to 2% of the human population has red hair. It occurs more frequently (between 2% and 6% of the population) in northern and western Europeans, and their descendants, and at lower frequencies throughout other parts of Europe, Asia and Africa. Red hair appears in people with two copies of a recessive gene on chromosome 4 which causes a change in the MC1R protein. It is associated with fair skin colour, freckles, and sensitivity to ultraviolet light, as the mutated MC1R protein is found in the skin and eyes instead of the darker melanin.
