What would happen if I bleached my hair again?

Ashtyn

I have very curly and poofy hair. People compare it to "black people hair." and I bleached it back in March. And and then dyed it back to brown at the beginning of June. But now I want to dye it a bright red. Which means bleaching it first.
I have deep conditioned it lately and use olive oil sometimes. And I am going to start taking a vitamin to make my hair grow.
Is this a bad idea to bleach it again?

Answer
You think vitamins IS THE MIRACLE FOR HAIR GROWTHS? Think again!

SUPPLEMENTS, medications, anti-acne products, diet pills ALL HAVE SIDE EFFECTS.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) doesnât have to approve supplements â no agency in the United States does. Because of inadequate quality control and inspection, supplements contaminated with heavy metals, pesticides, or prescription drugs have been sold to unsuspecting consumers.Beginning in February 2008, they experienced one symptom after another: diarrhea, joint pain, HAIR LOSS, lung problems, and fingernails and toenails that fell off. FDA has received numerous reports of harm associated with the use of these products, including stroke, liver injury, kidney failure, heart palpitations, and death. 3-15-11

According Dr. Melissa Piliang, a dermatologist at the Cleveland Clinic. Americans spent an estimated $176 million on hair loss products last year, and chances are some of that money was not well spent.

HEAT & CHEMICALS are hair's worst enemies, and NO HAIR PRODUCTS are made of glue to fix, prevent, reverse hair from getting damaged even hair falls. They are a billion dollar business. Once they fall, by a handful, there are no ways to glue them back on your head, it only means you've gone too far with chemicals. Style meets chemistry meets biology: We're talking hair coloring.

Playing with chemicals is not like playing with clothes, or doing a manicure, there are penalties for playing chemicals in the lab. Even hair color experts at the salon are not rocket scientists, they do a bang up dye jobs to their clients or their own hair.
Example: ok i did my hair yesterday i DIDN'T bleach it ,but im not sure what its called but she took the color out of my hair and then dies it a blond color and my head was on fire it killed me so after that i hated my hair color so i colored it my self a darker color, it looked so ugly and it burned me again it rully hrt so after i washed it my mom checked it for me and found small spots of blood all over my top scalp like over 20 of em now im scared and don't know why its there is it from the color am i sick and something is wrong ??

The chemical is not new and is present in a number of brands of dark hair colours, acting to help adhere the dye to the hair so that it doesn't wash out. Itâs made from coal tar and is used in both permanent and semi-permanent hair colours. Itâs well-known to be a cause of serious allergic reactions -- including something called contact dermatitis which can lead to rashes, blisters, and open sores.
PPD is sometimes added to black henna tattoos and that using them is not safe. Allergic reactions usually begin within two to 10 days following application. One bad reaction can lead to sensitivities to other products such as hair dye, sunblock and some types of clothing dyes. Oftentimes, it's using the product a second or third time.

Where can i buy red velvet purpley hair dye in the usa?

Kristen

I want to dye my hair a red velvet purple color however i am unable to find the correct color in the united states and i DO NOT want to bleach my hair. My hair is really dark brown, almost black. I found almost the exact color im looking for, 46 cyber purple xxl live by Schwarzkopf, http://www.livecolor.com/products/colourintense/cyber-purple-46/ but it can only be ordered from the UK and paying for shipping is a bitch. I want it the color of ariana grande's hair but with more of a purple tint! Please help!
Ive also looked at sallys, walmart, cvs, walgreens and cant find the right shade!

Answer
Sally Beauty Supply usually has a wide variety of dyes for affordable prices. I've dyed my hair fire-engine red, burnt orange red, blonde, burgandy, and reddish purple and have used various dyes found at Sally's for all of them. Beyond the wild colors, they have the more standard looking dyes from which you can actually find that red velvet purple you're looking for! You can ask one of the girls/guys working there what developers they recommend mixing with what dyes - theyre always very knowledgeable and helpful!

Honestly, Target or Walmart might even have the color you're looking for, but I recommend Sally Beauty Supply.

Good luck, it sounds like a beautiful color!!
