i don't really know what to be for halloween, but i have a dress which i think i will base my costume around. it's black, kinda short, and the skirty bit is like a tutu, it has black netting underneath, the the main body bit of it is black with small flowers on the material, but you can't really see them. then on the bit where the skirt starts going out there is there are two material roses with black ribbon coming down and sparkly broaches in the middle, and it has thin straps.
it's going to be cold, and possiblt raining but i'll have an umbrella.
what could i go as and what else should i wear with it?
i can go to the party shop down my road and get some extras, but nothing that will cost loads.
please help, i'll best answer the most detailed/imaginative.

I cant really picture what the dress looks like but with the details you gave I think there might be a few different things you can be.. and reasonably priced.
You can be...
-A fairy: You can buy some really cute fairy wings from the Halloween store, put on some stocking or leg warmers (you said it might be cold), wear flats or ballet shoes and wear sparkly makeup.
-A ballerina: Wear your dress with stockings and ballet shoes, put your hair up in a tight bun maybe put a ribbon in your hair as well, do very minimal/neutral makeup but with a pink or red lip and call your self a ballerina.
-A 1930's Actress: Wear your dress and do your hair very Marilyn Monroe or pin-up girlish and use lots of mascara or fake lashes, black liquid eye-liner on you top lid and a red lip for you makeup, and you might want to get a cute clutch purse and some pearls or fake diamond necklaces and rings and earrings from the Halloween store. If you can wear heals or really cute flats then you should wear those.
