Red highlights- good with my skin tone/ hair color?

miss.may.i

Hi! So I have long, curly hair. It's dark brown (though more brown than black). I have green eyes and tan/olive skin. Do you think I would look good with red highlights, or would blonde or light brown highlights look better? Also, are highlights pretty noticeable? Like would it make my hair look pretty red, or still mostly brown? Thanks! :D

Answer
I think red highlights would look good as long as there not TOO red..my friend has really nice auburn-ish red highlights and they look awesome! This is what would look good on your hair..

I'm not sure if that's the colour of your hair, but that sort of reddish/orange/auburn colour would look really nice!
Dont't get really stand-out red because that's going to look terrible, trust me.
Also, for your other question...it really depends on what colour highlights you get and how many. I would do an ombre of your hair colour and auburn. (Red at the bottom).
That would look awesome :)

Would ariana grande red hair suit my skin tone?

Sarah Leah

I have a fair skin tone. I have freckles over the bridge of my nose and my cheeks. My natural hair colour is brown and I have died it a light blonde colour. I have blue eyes.
Please help if you can!
Thank you! :)

Answer
I think so, looked it up. Don't leave it in too long, seems like it can get dark fast. Has more of a purple tone, don't want that if you're fair skin cause I did that with my hair, used red and it turned purple the first time and it looked odd, so be careful.
