book character with short red hair?

Got a themed birthday party, with the theme books. I'm looking for a book character with shortish hair, preferably red - darker red - or brown. Or any character with yellow cat eyes. I would be happy with either male or female characters...Thanks!!!

Why not go as Ron Weasley? If you have a friend with dark hair, they could go as Harry Potter (it doesn't matter what sex you are - I'm female and went as Harry Potter to a party - we made cloaks out of material from the market!).

What about one of the X-Men? Kitty Pride (Shadowcat) has short red hair in this picture: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:PrydeSHIELD.jpg

My other suggestion would be Tinkerbell - in Disney's version she's a blonde, but in the film Hook she was played by Julia Roberts with short red hair. And in the book/play she is only described as a speck of light.

Otherwise, you can always take artistic licence and just go as your favourite character, albeit with red hair. You could buy a wig for about £6 -£10 from a costume shop that would cover your head, or alternatively wear a mask!
