so i dyed my hair brunette a while back ; in like april (i was originally blonde). Now for the summer, i kinda want to go blonde again. but i need your opinion ; would i look better blonde, or brunette based on the pictures.

the only reason why people are saying i look older brunette, is because the picture where i'm blonde, i AM younger.... that was seventh grade. i'm in eighth.

Brunette for sure. You could also add some highlights if you like. Mix in a subtle red and blonde combo perhaps. Still, very much for the brunette.

so why do redheads celtic peoples have lighter skin color then blonde scandinavians and irish cant tan? shoudnt the lesser melanin in hair produce lightest skin? like ash blonde vs ginger? so shoudnt the swedish people be lighter then the irish? i mean red is darker then yellow isnt it?

You know there are people with Black hair-from Ireland who do not tan-no they are not descendants of the Spanish armada, there were not enough of them to contribute that much to the genetics,
There is no such thing as "Celtic Red hair" the red hair gene is believed to originate with the ethnic group who built the Kyrgyn graves in what is now Eastern Europe or Kyrgyztan, and all four of the children in my very Irish family have red hair and each has a different shade of red hair ranging from almost chestnut to strawberry blonde, melanin In hair does not "produce lightest skin"and not all Scandinavians have blond hair, the Vikings used to bleach their hair with lye to "Look fierce". your question is basically why are red heads paler than blonds, and they are not always. Furthermore you would need to look at the genetic history to understand your underlying concern. I guess freckles would be a whole other question?
